Tuimoala Lolohea Signs with WT

would be sorry to see him go, but if its for his kid, best of luck. will free up more cash for IVAN so we will be able to get a good replacement.

Ivan needs to be seen to be doing something, couple of signings, lots of unsubstantiated rumours, talent well shrinking fast.

If Moses is named tomorrow i'm going to really struggle to tune in on Friday night.

Moses will be pleased.

The release of Lolohea for the remainder of 2017 should have nothing to do whether we release Moses to the Eels…if Moses wants to go to the Eels this year, his AGENT should negotiate a deal with the Eels thate the Tigers can't refuse...after all it is Moses who wants to leave the WT....simply as that isn't it?

On the wing in reserve grade. That means the 2 reserve grade halves are ahead of him as well as the fullback. Doesn't make sense at all

The Warriors have denied Tui Lolohea's request for an immediate release with the club insisting he remain in Auckland, at least in the short-term.

Lolohea's player agent Stan Martin today met with Warriors managing director Jim Doyle and recruitment and development manager Tony Iro seeking a release from his contract which expires at the end of next season.

It's understood the 22-year-old utility is keen to move to Sydney midseason to join Wests Tigers, having also attracted interest from Canberra, North Queensland and Newcastle.

He was recently granted permission to talk to rival NRL clubs but the Warriors are not ready to say goodbye to him just yet.

Coach Stephen Kearney believes he could be of value to the side in the coming weeks and at the club is unwilling to part ways with the dual Tongan and Kiwis international until they have appropriate cover.

"He's contracted with us until the end of 2018 and until we're ready and found a suitable replacement he will remain with the Warriors," said Iro.

Lolohea played on the wing for the Warriors through the first three rounds of the season but has grown frustrated after spending the past six weeks languishing in reserve grade.

Should be as simple as that but moses and parra only want what's best for them. Just hand moses over to our reserve grade coach and tell him to play him wherever he wants for the rest of the year. Keep him as far as possible from NRL squad

Perhaps the Warriors are fearful another coach can get the best out of him which would be highly embarrassing for Kearney.

Claiming they don't have a replacement for him could mean TMM could be going elsewhere?

Same as it was this morning. If TMM is released to the Warriors they'll release Lolohaea to us.
ie. the tweet hasn't added anything new.

Isn't Hingano enough cover for them? How many backups do they need? They need 2 quality backups in nsw cup? Really??! We barely have that in top grade, not to mention nsw cup

They've got Mason Lino and Ata Hingano ahead of him for depth in the halves.
Nicoll-Klokstad ahead of him for fullback.
Fusitu'a, Maumalo, Vatuvei, Ayshford, Kata and Nicoll-Klokstad all ahead of him at centre or wing…
