Lets be honest here, were buying an overweight reserve grader that cant even displace ayshford nothing to really get excited about.

Ayshford is a center, tui is a half and a fullback. If tui was in his his shoes but in fullback position aysh wouldnt have a chance

At least if he plays more than one and a half games he won't be the worst player we've ever signed

Unfortunately you are equating time on the field with playing ability.

If you don't do this then Ballin is far from the worst player.

Give Lolo a chance for God's sake - hasn't even pulled a boot on for us yet. You are so negative.

I live for the day you have something positive to say about the WT.

Haha me too mate, I'm over the days of overpaying for potential.

This is the Club Motto for the next few years I fear

Who have we signed for next year and beyond that we are overpaying on potential?

no one. Suli was but hes already proven hes a star in the making. We have got a well rounded team. 4-5 more recruits and wel have a team that can make the 8.

apparently hes been named 18th man for the warriors this week and has been training with the top squad. whats the bet they get an injury to a starting back and dont release him lol

I don't think he'll be released until after their game. Santo obviously not named in their 21 man squad. So they'd be mad to release lolo in case of injury like you say imo

Cant believe so many messages on this thread.
Hes not going to do anything special this year. All about getting match fitness and experience before a big preseason.

Ah …Yes the magical mysterious Pre-Season...where everyone is better than any previous one... where they have never been fitter faster stronger than ever before...

Match Fitness...hasn't Lolohea been playing all year...?

16 teams have had the best pre-season ever and then R1 comes…

Preseason is good forbthe younger players. Take twal for instance. Hes 103kgs. Would be great if he turns up round 1 at 107kgs. Front rower needs to be around that weight these days. I think preseadons are too long. They should be two months then into it currently teams have about 4 months and when it comes to round 1 there seems to be a lot of big boys with bigger muscles but have forgotten they had to practice basic ball skills 😂

I live for the day that there is something positive to say about the WTs.

Possibly Cleary may be the one to provide that.
I seem to remember that you and others were very positive when ,Moses was running around oozing with potential.

Tuimoala Lolohea has officially left the Warriors and informed Wests Tigers that he will sign with them.

The 22-year-old, who fell out of favour with Stephen Kearney at the Warriors, had been seeking a release from the club for the past few weeks.

The Warriors allowed him to talk to other NRL teams and the Tigers along with the Raiders and Cowboys all put offers to the one-test Kiwis.

Lolohea was granted the release on Friday after the Warriors completed the signing of Zac Santo from the Raiders to be his replacement.
Once that was done Lolohea was able to make his final decision on which club to join and went with the Ivan Cleary-coached Tigers, agreeing to a two and a half year deal.

He has waived the 10-day cooling period and will be ready to play for the joint venture in next weekend's game against the Dragons.

Do we expect an email tonight or this weekend from the club? I like when these threads move to [OFFICIAL].

Tonight hopefully as he has agreed to the deal and waived the cool off period.

Lolohea's time at the Warriors came to an unfortunate end and not one that anyone would have been expected when he signed a big contract with the club in June 2015

He was held up as a future star of the Warriors, with x-factor and great attacking abilities.

It was always anticipated that he'd eventually move into the halves and partner Shaun Johnson, however that opportunity never really arose.

In 2015 Chad Townsend was with the club, last year Thomas Leuluai switched from hooker to five-eighth and this season the Warriors brought in Kieran Foran on a one year-contract.

Warriors coach Stephen Kearney started the season with the intention of playing Lolohea on the wing, but he only got to play the first two games of the season in that position.

When Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was forced to miss the round three game against the Bulldogs Lolohea was shifted to the No 1 jersey and the following week when Foran was a late scratch he was moved to five-eighth.

That game proved to be his last ever for the club and he leaves having made 52 appearances, scoring 17 tries and kicking 18 goals.

He'll join a Tigers team that will look drastically different next year as Cleary reshapes the playing roster.

Ben Matulino and former Warrior **Jacob Lillyman** are also joining the Tigers. As are Chris McQueen from the Titans and Josh Reynolds from the Bulldogs.

With James Tedesco and Mitchell Moses both leaving the Tigers, Lolohea will be a first-team regular at the club, something that was looking increasingly unlikely to happen for him at the Warriors.

They have offered a contract to Ata Hingano for next year and they are also on the look out for someone else who can play in the halves, with Te Maire Martin one of the options they're exploring.

In the meantime, the 24-year-old Zac Santo is a handy pick up as a player who can cover wing and fullback.

Although he has only played three games in the NRL, he was voted winger of the year in the NSW Cup last season and if he's willing to work hard and have a good attitude, could force his way onto the wings.

That article mentions Jacob Lilyman is coming to the Tigers as well. Has this been reported anywhere else? Anyone know anything about this?
