I really don't see a lot of similarities between Gibbs/ Galloway and Tuki. Tuki is a lot more agile with better footwork and a stronger passing game, he is that mobile lock we have been looking for. He needs to work on his motor and fitness to allow him to get through more work, especially in defence.

If anything its he’s very similar to the cowboys coach in play style. Ironic as that’s how we got him in the first place .

I just meant in creativity . And ability to hold the ball up and engage defenders . But yeah you’re right , the “halfback in a front rowers body” isn’t really him .

I reckon Elijay Taylor may have come in hand this year, and would've come cheap too. Not to mention he's a thorough professional giving the young guys valuable experience.

Not writing the kid off at all but my unpopular opinion is he isn't ready for first grade yet. When he came on they started rolling us up the middle.

Agree cochise,valid points,however,I would hate to see a young guy end up with either burn out because he is pushed to hard or once he reaches the NRL standard of week to week consistency he folds under the pressure...this is why I like Madges approach.a little bit here and a bit more later seems to have the right balance....just my opinion though mate...

The best Brooks and Moses ever played together was when Taylor 1st came over and was playing that link role at lock. Seyfarth was performing well in that role earlier this year as well.

No I agree with that, I like young bloke being brought in slowly. I also like them to get a couple of weeks in the top grade and then sent back to reserves with clear instructions on what they need to work on. It shows them how their game measures up and then allows them to work on their game in a much less pressure filled environment.

Tuki needs an off season in the weights room to fill out his frame and he will get better with more NRL games off the bench.

The new COE will hopefully drive a positive culture and offer the latest equipment for the team to develop further.
We have blooded a few young kids this year and apart from a few rookie errors they have accounted for themselves well.
Tuki is still very young and when he fills out he will be a weapon with the offload if we get some support players running off him.

Tuki should have at least made some contact, even if he fell off. I would like to think an off season with us will improve his technique.

In saying that, I hope Madge sticks with him. Keep blooding the young guys in these last two rounds. Who cares if we get smashed.

Has ability but not first grade level in a top 8 side. Not even close. Has a good offload but misses way too many first up tackles and tires quickly. A prospect but probably only a first grader with us or the dogs atm
