lol, you fellas will be disappointed….

Mir will go out in brutal fashion, bank on it.

Matthews would be my other lock on that card. That kid will be something special.

I will be happy to throw a bit of cash Mir's way.
As far as Matthews goes, I agree, but young guns who seem indestructible do get their arses kicked as well- Sage Northcutt being a case in point, he looked phenomenal until his last fight.

Respect Fade…. cyber handshake done..... Im on Hunt, you are on Mir, avatar bet until kick-off for origin 1.

Hope for your sake Hunt jumps into Mirs guard....

Mir was just an out-of-shape blob of a human out there today,I couldn't believe how sloppy his upper body was you could see the fat dribbling and wobbling off his shoulder blades. He made George Rose look like Kate Moss physique-wise.
Once I saw him look like that I regretted my decision to have put some hard-earned on him, disgraceful. He obviously likes the idea of good ol' Aussie meat pies while he is in training camp.

Hunt is one of the best strikers I have ever seen. I know that he doesn't look it because he isn't fast or flashy but he has huge power and he knows how to set up the big hit.

lol Hunt was in better shape than Mir. Gotta love that walk away.

Hector's corner cost him the fight. Telling him to "control his aggression" when he was in the middle of a flourish of punches on a grounded opponent.

Hector was always going to gas going beyond round 1 either way, his body isn't build for endurance. What a way to let Neil back into the fight.

Jake done well, congrats to him, hope he gets as much spotlight & success as Hunt & Whittaker in the near future.

Curious as to what UFC fights people on here rate as the best of all time.
For entertainment and brutality I would put the Diego Sanchez v Gilbert Melendez one up there. Brian Stann v Wanderlai Silva. Many of Robbie Lawler's fights are bloodbaths, apparently his last battle vs Carlos Condit was a great fight as well ( I didn't see it), hopefully the replay will be shown on Fox in the next few months. Mark Hunt vs Bigfoot Silva was a good one as well.

yeh, tbh, never a big diego fan, but UFC 166 i actually burnt to dvd for my dad just because of sanchez v melendez. man, that was a battle. a classic. for mine, so reminiscent of bonner v griffen.

thing about ufc is it even transcends boxing - especially with women - with your heart.
ill tell you why: always in any sport have who you are really wanting to win, but when it comes to mma, you can handle a guy getting his arse whipped (prob because ive been there, and its not so bad) but when its like holly losing, it kills you!!!

agree with the UFC166, and another amazing fight was silva v sonnen I and jon jones v gustaffson. man, if youve ever done any boxing or mma training, you watch those fights and you just think these guys are just more than human.

Most memorable punch I've seen in UFC was Rashad Evans dropping Chuck Liddell-that punch was sweet as a nut. Holm's headkick on Rousey would be up there as far as kicks go, or Anderson Silva's front head kick on I can't remember who was a gem as well.

Yep, thats right blacknwhite. Thanks. Belfort got smoked with that one. I would pay a weeks wages to see Nick Kyrgios get obliterated by a head kick like that on the tennis court.
