Just saw Pettis missed weight.
If he wins / he won't get the belt.

Max needs to win this and then smash Aldo.

I would prefer Aldo beat either of Holloway/Pettis. He doesn't talk as much crap as those 2 which is always good IMO.

Did you buy the fight today Demps? Would get bloody expensive purchasing all the UFC Main Event shows…...there seems to be one on every 2nd week!

I'm at work today so I am streaming what I can and checking the updates.

I don't buy every event.
Some aren't worth buying IMO.

Today's should be free IMO.

Just had a look on twitter, sounds like there was some awesome fights today including one that is being hailed as fight of the year. Will be good to see the highlights.

Yea watched replays.
That Swanson VS Choi fight was the goods.

Headkick knockouts are always nice to, got two on this card lol. stoked

Good free card this Sunday too with Northcutt VS Gall and Paige Zan Sant.

Great card yesterday friends.
Urijah Fabre went out with a win, retired.

Mickey Gall Vs Sage Northcutt was an exciting fun fight.
Mickey Gall is constantly improving. Don't know whats next for Sage though.
He's had two softer losses but my man Gall is a beast.

and Michelle Waterson coming out on top against Paige VanZant in what looked an effortless victory, she's one to keep an eye on.

Northcutt tapped out quicker than Van Zant, she is a tough nut.
Not sure why Gall would call out Dan Hardy, he is hardly a worthwhile scalp these days.
Good to see Faber retire with a victory.

Ronda's return today fellas!
R.I.P

R.I.P for who Demps? You reckon Rousey will whip Nunes? I think it will be the other way round and it may well be R.I.P to Ronda's fighting career….she didn't take her other loss too well. Nunes seems like a humble champ, hope she keeps her belt. Will be an interesting fight of different styles though.
Would love to see the ultimate tool Cruz get pummelled into a blubbering mess but he is a bit too elusive and rounded for Garbrant IMO. A sweet, brutal kick to the nose would be a beaut way for Cruz to lose the belt. Here's hoping anyhow.

Can I ask a question ??

Look in my opinion , UFC is becoming everything that it accused boxing of

I enjoy UFC , don't get me wrong but it's seems to me that they are manufacturing champions almost in the same way that WWE does now

This whole Rousey situation stinks of it

Lets create a new division so she can avoid people who will kick her arse and she can walk into a title

Exactly what many UFC fans accused boxing of when it was becoming mainstream

Again I know this won't be a popular view , but UFC has to face facts , what is making it popular is making it ho hum

I've got no doubt the money-men of the UFC who are raking in the cash would love Rousey to win today to get her hype-train back on the rails. But she is facing a great fighter today who is favoured to kick her arse, they may have gifted her a rails run at a chance of reclaiming the title but it will be far from easy.
Combat sports more than most sports love polarising figures (Rousey, McGregor, Muhammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather etc) at the forefront of their sport to maximise hype and exposure. Money talks and the big mouths bring in the money unfortunately. Hence they get seemingly more opportunities and easier roads to the biggest fights and most cash.
That will never change.

48 seconds…im not surprised muthaf####s
Lousey on her feet, lousey striker, another true fighter demolishes a UFC puppet.

Phenomenal performance from Garbrandt. The UFCs next biggest star right there

And as for that massacre in the main event… 48 seconds of complete domination.

Honda should have retired after that beating Holly gave her and stayed making movies.

Well she will be now, theres no coming back from that.

Can't wait to see the footage of Cruz losing the belt. Just heard his post-fight interview, was funny listening to him babble on about generally nothing. Congratulations to Garbrandt, hope he gives him a rematch and towels him up again.

It was a good fight man. Cruz started well and won the first and probably second but from then on Cody took over.
Thats his fifth fight this year and his most impressive. He really can bang. Excited to see where 2017 takes him.

So now Dana has lost a huge cash cow, how much more negotiating power does this give his other one? Connor's stocks just rose to enormous levels.

Whats the bet they tip a tonne of resources into making Paige and Sage household names next?
