Whittaker v Romero at UFC 213\. I'm more pumped for this than I am the McGregor v Mayweather fight.

Best of luck to Rob Whittaker today in his quest to become Oz's first UFC champion. Hope he gets the job done, I reckon he will.
Shevchenko to get the belt in an upset win over Nunes in the main event. Should be a good scrap that one.

Hope so mate. He has superior standup, controls distance well and has better cardio. Best of luck to Rob. It's now the Main Event as Nunes has pulled out, which it should have been anyway.

So happy for Whittaker! Bisping should retire and go to the WWE before he gets murdered by Rob.

Congratulations to Whittaker, great stuff.
Would love to see him put the mother of all beatings on Bisping and shut that goose's mouth for good.

Hell yeah, pumped for Whittaker!

Incredible performance given he did it with a busted knee. Just bloody awesome.

UFC Sydney on November 19\. No fights announced yet but Bisping vs Whittaker mainevent would be massive. Might even go see that one, and witness our first ever UFC champ. I'm a Bisping fan also but i'll be cheering Whittaker on for sure.

I havent been following MMA as much this year, all the money fights turned me off.
Glad to see an Aussie do well.

Bisping dummy spit was funny. Some what of a similar scenario to Jones and Cormier regarding the legitimacy of the interim belt.

Fight fans do yourselves a favour.

Watch the 'Ultimate Fighter Season 25' finale main card fight: Johnson vs Gaethje
Contender for fight of the year, will be hard to beat.

Not sold on him. PLENTY tough but stands right in front begging to be hit, can see him getting KO'd a few times against multi-dimensional fighters with enough brains to hit and move. Reminds me a lot of Robbie Lawler.
Bloody entertaining though without a doubt.

Hes gonna be TuF coach next season with Eddie Alvarez

Seems odd that he has basically stepped down a level to sign with Bellator.
Why did he quit the UFC, perhaps he thought he should be given a shot at the title? What was he ranked, 5th or something wasn't it?

I watched Ariel Hewani's podcast and Gegard said the money was close but he is changing because he will get more respect from Bellator.

Wants the middleweight belt then to fight at LHW and Heavy Weight.
Wants the big match ups over there with Rory McDonald, Ryan Bader, etc.

He said he felt he was due for a title shot but Whittacker jumped him with his wins and what not.

Hearing Bellator really looks after their fighters, starting to get some big names over there and expect more to come.

UFC has become more concerned with money fights. They dont match champs v number 1 contenders like they used to. These fighters enjoy money and fame but fundamentally they want to be known as the best. They want to challenge themselves against other top liners. I can understand the move to Bellator. It hasnt got the profile of UFC but they are still about the fighting over there.

Bellator is really getting better.
Big fights of late like Tito VS Chael and Chael VS Wanderlai - they're giving the fans what they want.

The signings of Rory Mac, Benson Henderson and now Mousasi, who IMO is top 3 middleweights in the world - steps in the right direction. Rory Mac & Mousasi are I their prime.

It'll be good competition for the UFC and their roster will improve.

UFC is obviously the elite league though but this reebok deal and not doing the fights the fans want is getting old. We all want a Diaz VS McGregor 3, McGregor VS Khabib - and for god sake, make the champs defend their belts !!!

Yep, the UFC is getting to be more of a popularity contest than rewarding blokes who deserve their shot.
Haven't really watched Bellator but with most of it being free-to-air and better quality of fighters moving across I might have to start having a look.
Any chance a title fight to unify belts with Bellator vs UFC in the future? Would think mega-ego's amongst the UFC (Dana) would be a bit hesitant in case a Bellator champ kicks UFC champ's arse.

Never happen… when the UFC bought Pride, they tried the unified belts and Chuck not only lost the Unified tilte, but lost his chin in the same night. It was a PR disaster as far as the UFC was concerned, hence why neither the Strikeforce or WEC guys got the same opportunity, most had to fight their way up the rankings.
