Yeah, you’re probably right 🤣
To the grave you reckon ...
I love someone with a chip on their shoulder who does it in style. Well done.

Remember Dave Smith? 🤣 Benji BarbaIt is a non issue as we know we are Wests Tigers the rest of the competition knows who we are and whilst we may have come from the different sides of the merger, my team is the Wests Tigers.
Lets not forget it is the NRL leadership, thus you can expect mistakes. They won't apologise either.
V'landys - Balmain , Annesley - Western Suburbs, incompetents at its best as you only have to remember 16 teams this year and 17 next year.
Remember we had the former NRL Chair John Grant call Manly the Seagulls and Cronulla Hawks...
Fish rots at the head
Yeah that’s what I’m saying - I’m just confirming that Vlandys didn’t correct himself.I'm talking about Anusley after he called us Western Suburbs he immediately corrected himself. As for VLandys i wouldn't think he would - he is an arrogant fat slug.
Nice jersey though. hahahaWhat about Peter Beattie, forget about everywhere that's in Queensland, he reckons Barcelona is in Newcastle.
have a look at the commentary Sunday Warren Smith always calls us Wests and he was an ex balmain fanTwenty two years on from the joint venture and we have the Chairman of the Australian Rugby League Commission calling our club, Balmain.
On Foxtel this morning -
“I thank Manly greatly for diverting the headline from the Balmain situation” - Peter V’landys.
As if it’s not enough to hear blanket “Tigers” references with rarely a solitary “Wests” thrown in to lighten the load - now we have the highest ranking league official in the land kicking my football heritage into the gutter.
It’s been 22 years for f**ks sake
Well technically this is a Balmain issue. It's also a Wests issue. So Vlandys is only half-insensitive.
This is like the bit where I sometimes accidentally say "England" when I mean "UK" and my Scottish wife rails on me for equating England with the entire union. And she never quite understands that its not that I don't care or misunderstand, it's that I spent the first 15 or more years of my life calling that place "England", without understanding the nuances of the nomenclature, and it's partially hard-wired into my brain.
For some older people Tigers still defaults to Balmain. But don't worry those insensitive people will eventually die and it will be less and less of an issue.

Does V'Landys know about Tommy's grandstand at lidcombe ?
it gets bigger on the sleeve every couple of yearsWas too busy wondering if the Magpie on the Sleeve was in the correct position....
Shameful isn't it that our leader says that.Twenty two years on from the joint venture and we have the Chairman of the Australian Rugby League Commission calling our club, Balmain.

Andrew Moore on ABC gets a nice balance too ... but that’s it ! Every other mouthpiece on the planet calls us “tigers, tigers, tigers”.have a look at the commentary Sunday Warren Smith always calls us Wests and he was an ex balmain fan

OK, didn’t notice that.Shameful isn't it that our leader says that.
Just a side not, this was posted earlier in "what's in the media" 👍
Yes, and in any British show, the madman is always Scottish as well.I used to know a bloke who came from Glasgow and 2 things that infuriated him was being called English or Jimmy and the other which upset by far the most was than in all fantasy shows/movies that actors depicting Dwarves always spoke with a Scottish accent (he was fairly short himself)
I kinda think Toddy Payten was on the money when he said, in a couple of weeks only Wests fans will remember this game.Taking a positive from this bloke's abject ignorance, he does sound a bit worried about the flood of negative media blowback from the NQ game. Anything that gets any of the NRL weasels worried is a very good thing even if we do not change the result
Is that true?it gets bigger on the sleeve every couple of years
I think that's probably correct but the bigger picture is still important. What is this happened in a grand final? The game is bigger than the people who run it and bigger than one club. Let's make the changes that protect and preserve it.I kinda think Toddy Payten was on the money when he said, in a couple of weeks only Wests fans will remember this game.
The “NRL weasels” will tread water until the tide goes out.
Well it is the best part of the jerseyit gets bigger on the sleeve every couple of years
