TEAM LIST Vs Dragons [round 18]

Team List
Latu had one game in the middle where he missed a couple of tackles. He has a strong defensive game when he is in the halves. If you think that Latu's defence is not up to scratch your not paying attention. I really am getting sick of the Madden thing, hes a fill in half back that should be used when Doujie , Luai or Latu are out. Madden is a good goal Kicker but he is a weak and Lazy defender , a jumper grabber who couldn't make a break if i was marking him. This was the ideal time to use Latu. Really pisses me off. Sorry in advance if you think this is harsh , but its the wrong path.
Looks like Benji may be focusing on the result and not the future, at least where Latu is concerned. We need a win and he maybe feels with the likely conditions, having two long kickers will be useful.
And I’m certain AD will play 6 and JM 7 which is what they did previously ( and successfully).
Latu hasn’t really been well handled because he’s behind JL, AD and JM in the halves, where he belongs. His passing from dummy half last week was positively pedestrian but not really his fault.

On the WTF poddy last night one of the comments from a listener said he spoke to Samuela and he said he is still 2-3 weeks away
Well I think originally they said R22 but I think we all hoped he may get back early.
If we lose a couple more games he may
not come back at all. They surely wouldn’t want another May situation !

Maybe he got a head knock in 2nd half sometime, I'm only guessing...

Jarome definitely copped a head knock, and I wrote in the live thread at the time that he should have been off the field, but was soldiering on instead. It was so obvious, yet neither the officials, doctors or trainers addressed it.

Not that I wanted him out this week, but I am happy to have a halfback again.

The massive positive over the last few rounds has to be Sukkar feel like he has taken some huge steps in a position we are very thin in
Agree. If his form continues he will be a must for 14 to 17 next year covering the back row and middle. I actually wonder if we need Blore the way Tony is progressing.

I accept that he had delayed concussion symptoms, but wasn't he out defending on the wing for most of the game on Sunday?

I commented after the game on the WT v NCL thread that I thought he might have been carrying an injury (I think he's been playing injured for a while now) so maybe this rest will be a blessing in disguise?

I don't agree. He is not a hooker and shouldn't be played there. He is a head and shoulders better footballer than Madden. Go and look at the game that Latu played in state cup a couple of weeks back at five eight against Manly his class was on show , Granted Manly wasn't strong but he just took them a part.

Can’t blame Luai this week.

I don’t see the value in not playing Latu or Javon this week.

Who knows maybe there will be a late change like with Lanyon.

I think you misunderstood my comment.
I totally agree with you and my point was he shouldnt have been playing hooker coz his overall performance, including his passing, was pedestrian. Only trouble is T I don’t think Benji is prepared to take a punt on him, otherwise he would be playing 6 or 7 this Saturday.
What happens is that as the games get more important coaches quite often go for the tried and true rather than blood the rookie. Makasini keeps getting a gig only because of injuries.

I was at the game I was in the stand western side i think it was last 5 mins he went in for a tackle and so did one of our players and kind of whacked his hip into his head making a tackle.
Peter Mousa came out to see him and stood near him for last few minutes of game, he looked a bit shaky at that point
