Was Dwyer's hit high??

Read on a few reports that it was controversial that the roosters didn't receive a penalty for that hit. I was at the game and thought it was just a really good hit. Was it high?

I thought Warea-Hargreaves might have been slipping when Dwyer hit him. It was a monster hit but hopefully there's nothing in it. Ellis probably has more to worry about.

Well he did hit him in the head, but he the Rooster was so low to the ground there is no way you could penalise it. **Fantastic hit.**

I was in bay 12 and had a good view with the binoculars and Dwyer lined him up to hit him in the chest however Hargreaves took a low stance which meant Dwyer hit him higher than meant, it was a great hit and should have won us the game except for the scrum debacle.

The hit followed his own handling error - I just hope he doesn't need to get p***ed off with himself (due to errors) before he gets aggressive.

Other players don't need that sort of negative motivation!

It was a great hit though.

I still rate Schirnack as a better prospect!

Spot on, Hargraves is an animal. I just watched the replay, Dwyer lined him up from the get go, fantastic hit :master:

He hit him high, but JWH fell into the tackle. I would have hated to have lost the game because of that hit (because he fell into it) but he got him on the chin. Not report worthy though, glad they didn't call it back.

the initial contact was beneath the kneck-head!

and he never fell into the tackle - he went down in the impact of the tackle and copped a secondary shoulder on the chin after the initial chest impact!

High or not it was great to watch, I believe it was a legit shoulder charge and there was no intent there, although roosters fans may not feel the same way, who runs with their head down like that anyway.

Was the hit of the season when it mattered most. We have some fantastic prospects in our squad. If that hit was penalisied I would have felt like hitting the referees.

fitted well into the game.
would like to see it happen again in games to come.
was good to see Dwyer smash him, and make JWH ( Jared Watchmy-Headcave) realise there are two teams playing, and expect to get belted.

Boys…best hit of the year on a guy who i have been waiting for someone to put him on his backside. Ever since this bloke gave lip to Petro, I have been waiting for someone to step up and smash him.
