Watchful Tigers keen to snare Blair

If we do buy Blair are we going to have let moltzen go to the rabbit?

yeh i am a bit over the whole saga Spartan. It feels like we have been linked to blair for ever with no official news either way. if we get him then good but if we dont lets just move on.
 
I agree with you guys, I think Blair is having us on . If he was going to sign you would of thought it would be buy now & the roosters are unloading all these players what for? Also we talk of letting Gibbs, Fulton, Moltzen, Moors, Flanagan, & Payten retiring where has all our depth gone then? this could come back & bite us on the bum.
 
Don't think they will need to offload everyone mentioned in the interview They would be crazy to offload Myles , Minichiello and Phil Graham and Piggy to get Blair . Watts is a waste of space and you would get Jack for him anyway . Myles is a class footballer and only 25 as well . And the mail I got was his contract at Roosters would be heavily backended so they could probably get away with getting rid of Minichiello , Graham and Watts . If they get rid of Piggy they don't have a back up hooker for Aubesson and he isn't and 80 minute player yet . If the Tigers are going to sign him it has to happen NOW . But don't hold your breath in the meantime
 
Blair would be a great buy but unlike the chooks we are not desperate. With a good run from the injury gods we will give it a shake in 2012 with the squad we have now the same cant be said for the chooks. So my guess we will probably come second in the bidding war
 
It seems very doubtful he will sign imo. I would give him a deadline so this will give us a chance to sign someone else. This is dragging on way too long.
 
I seem to remember something about Blair being more likely to stay at the Storm if Champion went somewhere else. Well now, that has happened.

I agree, give him til 5pm on monday.
if there is no signature, from him. withdraw offer and spend money elsewhere.
if he rings at 5.02pm then bad luck, you missed the deadline.
airplanes don't wait for you, so why should wests-tigers.

How come all our signings(new players) takes patience,and plenty of time,even Utai,but he turned out great so maybe it is all worth it in the end.
 
Roosters have given Nat Myles permission to look for another club Much like we have supposedly done with Fulton and Gibbs . Myles is looking at Knights . I am trying to stay positive with the whole Blair thing but i think it will turn out badly for us . Hope we have a back up plan . If we go into 2012 we no major external signings I would be concerned greatly as it will begin to create staleness in our playing ranks
