We need answers

Want GM to come out and say if we are in the market for any quality players. No need naming names just the positions we need filling. We know you can't wait to fill 4 positions with quality in one year, but at least one has to be made for next year.

Also he needs to tell us how much of our salary cap we have to use to make these signings. To me these are the answers I want to know, not the other stuff he drip feeds to us which usually equates to I couldn't care less.

I don't want any answers, I just want teddy and nofo resigned….

Everyone keeps going on about Teddy, Nofo, Woods etc.

I want a competitive team, a team that wins consistently, feared by opposition, bringing happiness to us fans.

These guys are not my mates nor do they know who I am they represent the team I love the Wests Tigers. If they don't perform see you later don't care who you are as per Benji. I got no time for sentimental favourites, you don't play well then go to Cronullavor wherever.

This team has to be one of the most poorly operated teams in the country. If it wasn't for 2005 we would have nothing 15 years of managing a business with 1 successful season. 2010, 2011 in my eyes were the biggest let down we had the cattle we didn't have the brains.

The people at the helm must be responsible for this mess it seems accountability does not exist at the Wests Tigers. From the CEO , the Dr 's, the training staff, the coach, and the players.
They seem to be content with below average results. We must aim for the sky try and sign the best players be active in the market look at always bettering ourselves in whatever part of the club.
We seem to forming into the clubs we lost in 1999 bottom dwellers, easy beats, dirt kickers and strugglers

Disappointed Tiger.

"…it seems accountability does not exist at the Wests Tigers. From the CEO , the Dr 's, the training staff, the coach, and the players."

We have a new coach, a new CEO, a new assistant coach, new supporting med staff and a big turnover of players in the last 18 months. Heck we even have some new independent directors.

Marshall was moved on, as were Ayshford, Reddy, Bell, Utai, Lote, Pettybourne and others. If performances don't improve, you can be sure that Potter will be replaced too. We have many, many problems, but I wouldn't say a lack of accountability is the biggest problem at the moment.

So where is an example of accountability.

With a new coach comes all the support staff.

The only person who was let go through assessment and not reaching KPI's was Sheens which was only 5 years to late hence where we are today.
The players mentioned excluding Utai if fit were always selected to play.
Them finishing with us was either through greed ( Marshall), or due to the fact they were off contract not even a scapegoat to ruffle feathers.
If we let them go due to poor form then whole team would have been let go.

If a business is operating poorly instruments should be put into place to immediately rectify the issue.not here though.

Yeah great idea. I really want to know exactly how much space we have in our cap, the positions we are looking to fill etc etc. Why on earth won't you let us all know Mr Mayer?

Grant, surely you don't think that as supporters we will tell anyone else, or that the club would be at any disadvantage to other clubs or potential players during negotiations 😱pen_mouth:

And while you are at it, please explain why this club has not won more than our solitary title since inception. There are only fifteen other clubs that are competing against us, most of them are much poorer than us, have dysfunctional boards and outdated training facilities, so why is our trophy cabinet not bulging? :unamused:

Finally, why haven't you done anything to secure our finances, improve training facilities, or boost member numbers by providing a variety of membership options with good pricing to boot :wtf

Gee whizz! How long has Mayer been at the helm? 6 months? What are you expecting in that time? The new board was established when? A month ago? Neither can be held responsible for the shambles of prior years.
Most forumers considered this a rebuilding year, with a bunch of young players finding their FG feet. Not expecting much until the 2nd half of the year.

Wow, we do realise not every team can come first. There are 16 teams and 8 can't make the top 8\. Now givin it's been a while since we have been there but as someone said we have some silver wear in our cabinet. You can't win every game and if we did we would all be bored, and wanna win by more. Take footy for what it is, a sport we love not a way of life.

Wrong that is poor attitude.

That is the attitude I see us have as a club engineered to accept rubbish. Hoping and preying for a 05 miracle. I'm after a team that is strong , relentless and has a winning culture.

Winning is everything ask Manchester United fans if they were more bored when they were winning trebles or this year when they a barely beating average English teams.

I'm generally bored September to March Manly ,Melbourne, Brisbane etc fans are generally bored October to March .

I think if their was a team we should model it is Manly, continuously competitive minimal budget operating out of a suburban ground.l full of passion. Some how thru always find themselves at the pointy end.

This is madness. Can you name any other club that publishes its Salary Cap figures?

If he says "we want to sign a centre" and it doesn't work out, then supporters are up in arms. What is the point of publicly nominating the positions that you want to fill?

Yea, real bad option from the club only letting go of players who were off contract.

I'll pass the message onto them that they should try there best to ONLY fire players with minimum 2 years on their contract left. It's not like we have to pay that out of our own cap or anything.

:crazy :crazy :crazy

You don't see the accountability after 2/3rds of the organization is rolled over for not getting results? Many of the players who were getting games last year were there because we had over 10 first graders out. As a general rule, if we had better players we would be playing them.

Pray tell, what are the "instruments" you would put into place to immediately rectify all of the clubs performance issues?

I too have been disappointed for the last few years, along with almost all tigers fans. If only you could have shared your immediate issue-rectification instruments (I'll call them IIRIs) sooner. Lots of publicly listed companies would also be interested in hearing from you. You can call the company "Panacea". Panacea, provider of simple and immediate instruments of rectification.

I wish we modelled ourselves on manly. I hate them but really enjoy watching them play. They play with mongrel and aggression, the way I wish our boys played
