We were really good tonight

If we played a quality team tonight, it would of been a massacre . Parra kept us in the game for a long time, through their mistakes. The Broncos are going to make a mess of us.

Are they? Really.

Very poor performance sure the refs made life difficult be we lost against a substandard team.I dread to think of our performances coming up and i am absolutely bewildered that people can give this effort a pass mark

On current form the Broncos will put 50 past us.

I also thought we were really good tonight and only absolute rubbish to the point of bias reffing cost us

We had more line breaks -5 to 3
missed half as many tackles despite making 100 more - 11 to 25
Made only 150 meters less despite only having 45% of the ball
Made less errors - 9 to 11
Made 25 tackle breaks to 11

What hurt us and cost us the match was horrible performance with the whistle

If Badger didn't Rob us we would have been a BIG change
Awesome game from Chris Lawerence, Halatau stepped up , Ava had a ball, and the Usual Marty outstanding again. Teddy, Kevin and Co chimed in

Last week i was angry with how we played but after tonight's game i think boys should be proud of their effort.

Im upset with HOW we lost but still feel proud being a WT Supporter

Yeah they played well :unamused:

Keep it up and we might finish 2nd last…..

There's no way this side makes much progress next yr. Brace yourselves, this realistically is only the beginning.

If we're lucky. Could be double if all these amazing juniors turn out to be plodders.

If we had won that one everyone else would have been as easily pleased as me.

Doubt it.

This isnt fantasy league were facts and figures actually mean anything.

We got beat by the ordinary Parramatta team tonight, not the good one, the average one.

Our attacking structure was significantly better tonight.

Actually used the ball to advance up the field which was a pleasant change.

Thought we defended well in general, Kev got slaughtered on the high ball and made an embarrassing play for the second Semi try, suspect he was thinking hero play with dreams of 90m intercept try.

Loathe to say it but the referees crueled us tonight, the no try was a shocker and we copped a heap of dodgy penalties and missed a lot of others thst could have went our way.

We were better than last week but you can't be happy conceding 28 pts to a team like Parra.

Ref's calls were harsh but I think it's cheap to blame referees for losses unless it was a crucial call in an even game. Parramatta played better and scored more points. They're a team that we should expect to be beating

You can only be disappointed by a result like tonight I hate that were starting to accept a result/performance like this. We're a professional sports team, mediocrity is unacceptable and we're becoming very mediocre.

Is it just me or can anyone else remember the last time a try was scored against us from up the middle? Seems like all the tries scored against us are out wide or from a bomb. I could be wrong though.

I wouldnt say ''really good''

Id say, "a bit better than our worst"

Seriously…thisb thread is the attititude you have with 8 year old kids sport...this is professional sport were talking here, big money adult professionals...we are weak in so many facets here - expectations low

We did put in. We just got killed in the second half because of penalties and dud calls.

Still we should have done better.

I agree with you Steve. We definitely put in and it was a massive improvement on the capitulation last week. I thought our attack flowed more, with the limited possession we had, and, other than a few costly lapses, our defense was consistent and brave. We had all the momentum at the end of the second half but this was curtailed by the officiating in the second. There is no doubt that the refereeing throughout the game decided the outcome. Actually, we might have gone on to win comfortably if that first 'no try' was awarded.

Parra had a full team really without Hopa. We played well without Farah, Woodes, Simona, Nofa, Siro, Brooks etc it proves that our future is strong Tedesco is a leader in our young side and he showed us that last night!
