We will win this one

I don't care what anyone says but we are better than the noughts. Recent history doesn't sit well but with a few tweeks to this team we can chalk up season win no 4

It should be in our minds of those 3 losses…..however changes must be made to key positions and gameplans adhered to. We honestly can not continue with our young halves, that time has elasped imo. With 14 games remaining Littlejohn must come into the frame to partner Moses in the 7 I think.

Their last win was against us,and previous to that was against us also. If we lose to them this time,it's rock bottom.

SPORT is all about hunger and the desire to win - how much a team wants it and how hard each member is willing to push himself for it. It's contagious within the team as well. The Tigers have rarely shown that spirit to win in years. After being flogged by the Raiders - there was a glimpse of it and the Rabbits played badly enough to let a patched up team get on top.
This week however the Knights will want it more than us and I won't be surprised if we get convincingly beaten. Some players just have that competitive fire in their makeup and some just don't - it can't really be coached into them. Unfortunately in the Tigers roster there are too few real competitors.
We won't beat any team that shows up to really play!

Im not optimistic,

The Knights had their game of the season earlier in the year and I expect them to do the same.

We have a knack for helping other teams get their seasons back on track.

Either way I am still proud to be a Tiger till I die….

It will be tough as the Tigers will be facing the back bounce affect after the Knights got a severe flogging!! The Tigers will have to be disciplined and not give the Knights a sniff otherwise it could be a loooooooooooong afternoon for the Tigers.

Is it just me or has our club become like the school yard bully we can only jag a win against under strength teams. When it's a team at our level or better we are hopeless. Why should I be proud if we beat the knights. It's a game that us fans demand we win and win well they are struggeling that badly ATM but I won't be proud if we do there is just something very wrong with kicking a club when they're down. But who knows with our lads I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to lose it.

If we win against the Knights our problems will be forgotten about. People will praise habitual under-performers and reality will be swept under the rug, again. At least until next week.

So, do I want us to win? Of course. But like an addicted gambler who has a little win, it won't do us any good.

And there in lies the problem, same thing against souths, we won against a very poor side and Taylor survives, it will be the same thing all over again.
Taylor should have been sacked at fulltime after the raiders game, we are just happy to keep putting band aids on gaping wounds. :bash

Surely it has to be curtains for the Scarecrow if we get rolled by Newcastle .

I wonder how JT's under 6's team is travelling ?
I wonder if they've started tanking yet to oust the coach

I think the Knights will get us. They'll bash us in the middle and Sims will probably have a field day on our edge. We're just not mentally tough enough and Taylor doesn't promote the team to use any second phase play, which is criminal given Brooks and Moses would likely come into their own against a retreating defence.

Surely a team getting beat 62-0 is a slight indication that the salary cap isn't working/the clever clubs have found a clever way to exploit it.
The difference between teams like Newcastle and Us compared to the Bronco's and Cowboys is possibly the furthest apart than any other season.
We're not even in the same stratosphere as them something is wrong here, level distribution of talent and a level playing field my a#*

We will win by 1 or 2 max. The Knights must love playing WT: it is the only time of the year when they can confidently plan a celebratory p###-up for after the game. At least if the Knights are dining out on oysters, caviar and Dom Perignon the WT boys will be enjoying their beer and pizza.

This game will go a long way in defining the Wooden Spoon Champions…..will the Knights go back to back or will the Chef at Concord get an early Christmas Present .
