I like the players we have signed for depth however, if Joel Edwards is projected to be in the top 17 well then we have bottom 4 aspirations. Just keeping it real.

On Raiders web-site signed for 2017 so wouldn't be a nice change for another club to be paying part of our player's contract.

Raiders released him from final two years of his contract two weeks ago. Rated high by Raiders fans as they have released yeps of players.

Everyone on this forum has been screaming for some forward signing, the minute the club signs a forward half the forum starts bagging the signing!!!!!!!!!!
we havn't got the cash or cap space to sign JWH Klemmer or any other top shelf forward so we sign a worker, no ones happy

Quite capable of thinking for myself TP. What is wrong with what either of us said? How many of us did backflips when Austin or Taupau were signed? A handful maybe but they were unknown quantities, especially Taupau.

Sometimes players only need be in the right place at the right time to realise their potential. Give the bloke a go, he could be 2016's Kapow or Austin.

The side has needed a forward to do the hard yards in defence to stiffen up the middle. Maybe he can look after the halves and teach them a thing or two about making front on tackles. Decent signing in my book.

I think Edwards was in a similar situation to the Farah dilemma on a smaller scale. He was signed to the Raiders for good money and now Ricky has decided he wants to spend that money elsewhere. He was apparently fit to play and not selected, playing for the Mounties in NSW Cup. The difference is he chose to ask for a release rather than to play the next two years in reserve grade.
