The only worthwhile points you could take from that trial game were that Walters looks like he might be the best option at 9, Musgrove needs to be in the 17, Talau needs more time before he can be an NRL centre week in week out.
Reynolds needs a lot more football. Eiso unfortunately looked better than ET and MCK.
Young Johns and Cini seem good prospects.

Cini was very disappointing, terrible defensive reads. Prospect with a lot of work to do.

Whats the deal with Doueihi - was he injured last night?

Think I read somewhere Madge said it was nothing to worry about or similar.

Haven’t heard that anywhere I don’t think he was injured. Only one I heard is that Kane Bradley didn’t play because he was sick

**New signing Adam Doueihi went off in the Tigers' loss to Penrith with an upper leg injury but coach Michael Maguire after the game said Doueihi's exit was precautionary and he'd be fit for the next trial.**

Lawrence's absence from the Penrirh trial suggests to me he is a good chance of being in the 17 or at the very least will be given a chance to stake a claim this weekend.

I only see him as backup this year.I cant see him playing more than 3-5 games off the bench unless we have bad luck with injuries.I am not doubting his efforts it is just we have better younger players imo

He’ll push for a spot but I think we have a lot of second rowers that offer a lot more than him. Garner, Leilua and Chee Kam can all play big minutes too and they’re ahead of Lawrence

Who’s spot is he taking? There’d have to be a few injuries.

It's going to make the 1st TLT of the year very exciting at the least..

Against the Warriors I would like to see:

1 Doueihi
2 Nofoaluma
3 Mbye
4 Joey Leilua
5 Thompson
6 Marshall (C)
7 Brooks
8 Twal
9 Walters
10 Musgrove
11 Garner
12 Lucy Leilua
13 Taylor

14 Chee-Kam
15 Clark
16 Mikaele
17 Aloiai

+ another six

Very close
I would like

1 Doueihi
2 Nofoaluma
3 Momirovski
4 Joey Leilua
5 Thompson
6 Marshall (C)
7 Brooks
8 Twal
9 Walters
10 Clark
11 Garner
12 Lucy Leilua
13 Taylor

14 Mbye
15 Musgrove
16 Mikaele
17 Aloiai
18 Chee-Kam

I would like to see Musgrove and Mikaele come on at the 25 minute mark when the opposition starts to tire
Two aggressive forwards on at the same time should give us another step up

I liked how Momirovski finished off his tries last year and a second option goal kicker
His height will also help diffuse the bomb or help with an attacking bomb
Mbye on the bench (Marshall is captian as well) can come on with 25-30 minutes to go or cover Hooker Halves Fullback or Centre if injury strikes

Obviously I would have Momo in my side too, thought he may not be available that is why I left him out.

Good side CT - I'd be happy with that.

I don't disagree with anyone re Lawrence, just an observation about his absence vs Penriff

Lawrence had a great 2018. Was a tough year for him last year with the injuries but maybe with a proper pre season and no injuries he can find that 2018 form and push for a spot. Hopefully he does cause I love the bloke but second row is probably the most stacked position we have at the club.

He's a great club man etc but if we're being serious is nowhere near the 17.Even on 2018 form he's below Garner and Leilua.

1. Douehi
2. Momo ? (Anyone who is quicker than Nofo)
3. Mbye (only because Talaus defence is Sus)
4. JLo
5. Thomo (Really want him in 1 but don't know where to put Doueihi)
6. Benji
7. Brooks
8. Twal
9. Et/Walters
10. Clark
11. Lawrence (the forgotten man)
12. Garner
13. Aloiai

14. ET/Walters
15. Mikaele
16. Luci
17. Musgrove

Or
1. Thomo
2. Nofo/Jennings
3. Doueihi
9. Mbye (in replacement for ET)

Lawrence is still better than Luci imo, Luci off the bench Lawrence and Garner starters, both great hole runners

Maybe 10 years ago but imo Leilua has him easily covered in every way.

Just about spot on toss up between Jennings and Thompson

Lil bit worried about putting Nofa and Leilua on the same side, both known pretty well for defensive lapses ain't they?
