Can't wait for this to be completed. We are so far behind the 8-ball when trying to recruit players due to the lack of facilities. Having the latest and greatest, might be enough to convert those near misses to signatures - will still take overs at this stage, but it'll be a start.

My missus, who really doesn’t follow sport, just went ‘oh wow how good is that’ when she saw it.

It’s also the image of professionalism when courting new signings or trying to retain players. Anyone who’s been to Concord in the past can attest how amateurish the old setup was. And more than one player has commented on how lousy it was. It gets hard to blame guys for leaving our Anytime Fitness Lite setup for state of the art equipment.

The recovery pool is a great innovation as the players do not have to go to an outside facility for that recovery all under one roof !
Hope they have a merchandise store there .

It will be at the entry to the centre. Disappointed they didn't show the Barber.

I think they mentioned it will be completed by early next year ?
I know last nights footage was filmed many months ago , however does anyone have an approx. completion date ? (I’m assuming latest Covid lockdowns may delay the completion)

Handover is supposed to be by March 3, blew out from Feb 9 with the lockdown. After that date the builders start to be penalised for it not being completed.

I’m sure the builders know what there doing . To a mug like myself though, it appears they will be under pressure to complete by 3 March ..: next 6 months will fly
