Wests Tigers are a sleeping giant, and the echoes of 2005 will manifest a brand new team under Luai - it's almost here!
 
As stated on another thread if this club can keep up with proper promotion's that will consistently keep on getting good decent crowd numbers.
There was a great atmosphere last night and good banter between eels and tiger supporters.

The crowds at our suburban homes have been outstanding. In particular Ctown due to how much BS is portrayed about the area and it not caring about the club. They had 3 sellouts this year, including the final round when we were coming last. The area does care, they just want what all the rest of us want. A competitive team that wins games.
 
Studies of prisoners of war show that the most realistic of them are the ultimate survivors.

The POWs that expect or set short term time horizons for freedom die at a faster rate than those that accept the reality that there will continue to be horrible times ahead for the foreseeable future.

With this in mind, I am steeling myself for mid next season to be our true low point.

For me a successful Benji would be a dream come true. Yet, just as when he was hired my view remains the same. There is no substantial evidence that he can be a long term first grade coach.

As such I am steeling myself for a brutal low mid 2025. Yes, maybe it’s better than that, but facts today show otherwise.

I will still renew my memberships. I still believe Richo is the best thing to happen to this club in a decade. I will still turn up.

WT fans are the best in the NRL. No matter how many times we are let down, disappointed and gutted by team performances, we come back for more and continue to turn up. We live in hope of better days and can’t imagine following any other team. No matter how bad things are our loyalty is gold. We whinge and b#tch about how bad our team is year on year and the circus our club has been, but deep down, we love this team, this club and know the dark days will come to an end. Please let it be next year 🤪

If there were no (paying) supporters i feel we would improve dramatically. But the (financial) fans are happy to keep paying for less than mediocrity. The ( operative) fans are part of the problem. You see what I did there?

That would be true, however there is no more of a disingenuous bunch of cretins in RL than the Wests Tigers media team. I’ll give them 10-11 weeks before they start flooding social media with pictures of the players running and passing and drinking water with their shirts off with slogans about never giving up and not accepting mediocrity and blah blah blah 🤮
The same shit they’ve done for years now and the same sheep will lap it up and attend training and lecture us all on how the side is working it’s backside off and that they look bigger than ever and faster than ever and sharper with the ball than ever and setting records in the COE gym and how they’ve tightened their defence and are all really enthusiastic and happy and raring to go…..
Everything will be forgotten/forgiven and the hype train will arrive ready for another season….toot tooot…
