Hard to disagree with you on that one Ink. Disappointing first up, no ball control and if you give away penalties in this format, you give away points, simple. Titans could go all the way in this, they have plenty of speed and look the favorites in our group at this stage.

I like the look of Woodsy….he looked very athletic,looks fit and his offload was on.

Also like Siro who looked bigger and Patterson.

Robbie was a bit off,needs to run more from dummy half.

Gold Coast 2 , tigers 0 = we win as the only result that really matters in this comp is injuries.

Mick Potter indicated a few weeks backs that he was not putting a high priority on this format of the game and it certainly looked that way today. The team was a legion of ill disciplined lost souls. All pre-season hype is worth nothing if you can't perform on the football field but then again this is only Nines.

Plenty to be positive about
-Tedesco looked brilliant on his feet, outran Gordon and chased down Kelly
-Taupau: Aggressive, fast, fit and ran and hit hard.
-Gavet: See Taupau
-Richards : Still looks as though he has some reasonable pace about him.
-Moses: Looked quick and enthusiastic. Will be great.

I was really impressed by Gavet and Taupau these two are going to be wrecking balls this year.

Can't win the game without the ball. Kickoffs really hurt us so too did the 5 0 penalty count. We're still a chance of the finals if we pick up on our ball control and urgency for regaining kick offs.

Farah - selfish play kept turning over the ball. I would rest him from the remainder of the tournament. Ad lib football is when he is at it worst these days.

Apart from that, we were very poor. Tedesco and Patterson were the exceptions.

All the new recruits looked good - Austin, Tapau, Patterson, Richards all did well.

Our defence was very poor.

Oh well its only a bit of fun.

You can't allow the other team to get the ball back after points. We did that twice and that completely destroyed our possession.

Koro's defensive decision making leaves a lot to be desired.

We need more pace generally across the field.

Made far too many errors.

The centers defense is weak.

Rowe and co are still very young and made a few errors from inexperience, but will be better for the run.

Teddy looks fantastic, Sirro, Patterson, Gavet, Taupau woods all looked great
No injuries, work on some combinations focus on the real comp

I thought Robbie overplayed his hand - we don't have a good enough half and he's trying to take over. Very happy with Tedesco - seeing that speed is fantastic. The new boys look good.

Korro might have pace but he's positioning is terrible and find him a bit unco at times.
Other than that to many mistakes, was always going to be an uphill battle.

I think a lot of sides would of learnt a lot from watching the Titans play 9's

They appear to have put a lot of thought into their game particularly kick offs

I got 21's as well…..PS,we lost a game when we won the sevens....all hope is not lost.

And we looked really fast.If we can hang onto the ball we can give this a rattle.

Farah plays his worst when we have no halfback. He tries to overplay his hand all the time, with awful kicks and selfish options. It will be a very long year if Brooks get injured.

We looked like we put very little thought into how to play this format. Some great individuals plays from Tedesco, Patterson and Sirro. Team looked all over the shop, but if we get through injury free its a success.
