Wests Tigers Jerseys 2017

Can I ask, does anyone know when the new jerseys will be announced? I heard a rumour it would be soon.

Possibly later in the week…this week....

Does that off-field gear hint that maybe we've moved from a V to a chevron, as someone rumoured a while ago?

looking at the pictures i was thinking the same thing and that maybe the earlier mock ups might be close to the mark.

Also Ballins second photo is that the Mayer grey or is it the lighting?

Woeful designs - and now we have another **new colour** .
Looks like Ballin is wearing the 'steel' colour.
Grey, steel….. what next?

Could be that "grey steel" is there so that JT can do Zoolander impressions with the media after a loss?

Haha…''woeful''

I know whats woeful

Sorry - forgot it was a forum and you were allowed to have an opinion.
Any design appeals or doesn't appeal depending on taste.
I think they're woeful.

Obviously you 'know' what's woeful.
Why not enlighten us instead of making half arsed comments that have no relation to the topic?

It looks black to me with weird lighting - the same shirt Simona is wearing in the first photo.
Also, it's a training shirt - who cares what colour it is? They could wear red white and blue whilst training for all I care.

'The predominantly orange and black training apparel will be worn by all players as they get ready for season 2017, while the Club's coaching staff will wear **the new-look steel colours.**'

Doesn't matter if they're training shirts or whatever - they are for sale to supporters.
Would you buy anything red, white and blue to show you support the Tigers?
No?
Well at least now you can wear our new colour 'steel'

You don't have to buy the steel polo if you don't like it…The also come in Black and the White version of the same shirt..

You can however moan and groan about it as is everyone's perogative...

The Training jerseys are black with a reverse Orange version also...

I think they are smart simple design ...Will be getting the Black and the White Polo's for sure..

I like the new polos and the training singlets.

I have a feeling this years jersey range will be the best we've had in long time. Will probably reveal 4pm-5pm Friday afternoon

Fair enough - my bad.

I wouldn't buy any version of Tigers training gear tbh, but that's me. There will be people buying the 'steel' shirt, of that I have no doubt.
Most clubs around the world - be it Souths, Real Madrid or Golden State - will have their training gear in alternate colours, so as to offer something different to their fanbase.

Found these images on an online store. Not sure how accurate they are but don't mind them if they are legit.

If legit….

I don't mind that home jersey, but the away jersey is awful. We know they're the Tigers, there's a badge - why do we need a big freaking picture of the logo on the jersey as well?

Also, interesting that the Magpies are gone from the shoulders, and they've got the two old logos (i.e. BT and WM) on the back of the neck.

Looks legit. It is the same chevron style that we've seen with the other merch.

My 2c:

- Overall I like them. They are sticking with the more simple V that has been the general norm for the past few years. This is good, no more silly daggers, triangles or honeycombs.

- The alternate could have been so much better. I don't see why they didn't just release three alternating colour schemes!? Gold, black and white… It's not hard.

- BIG tick for the simplicity of them though (aside from the giant tiger)

- HUGE tick for the Wests and Balmain logos

I think i'll buy one of the main ones
