Wests Tigers launch Member Committee..

lol it's ok to give feedback on a fan site but it's a horrible decision to set up a committee that allows the club to receive feedback from you?

obviously it's not going to be so what do you think about player X bla bla, it'll be information like which jersey design do you like, website layout, pre game shows etc.

it's a great idea. i'm surprised no other club has done it before (or may have, not sure)

The 10 person Member Committee were joined by Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe, Chief Operating Officer Ryan Webb and the Club’s Membership staff for the inaugural meeting.

“Membership is a huge part of this Club and providing them with a voice is integral to our future success,” he said. “We’re committed to growing our Membership base and this group will be a part of that process.

Does anyone know any of these people?? How were they selected?

Football and Business naus? passion? randomly? popular election?

WOuld be iterested to know.

A great initiative by the club. Constructive feedback will only improve and enhance decisions moving forward. Getting buy in from core supporter base can only enhance the Tigers brand.
I'm sure there will be teething issues but in the long hall can only benefit all members and supporters.

It doesn't matter from what walk of life they come from but more importantly there passion for all things Wests Tigers has a voice. What is important is that committee is changed every year so that fresh ideas can be tabled and complacency does not set in…. Well done and good luck to all.

Well, the "diverse group" claim goes straight out the window rather quickly then. I don't doubt their passion, but it certainly was not with, nor helpful for the club last year and played into Ayoub's scheming hands.

Still, a good initiative.

Good on them. I ve been on a committee at a Large Surf Club that tackles similar issues. Late nights nutting out problems.

Member Committee hold second meeting

Fri 29th January, 02:39PM

The Wests Tigers Member Committee met for the second time at Concord Oval this week, with the group discussing some key topics for the Club.

The 10 person Member Committee were joined by Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe, Fan Engagement and Community Manager Shaun Spence and Membership Manager Olivia Rebelo with the meeting focused around fan engagement.

At the conclusion of the meeting it was decided that the Club would focus on three key aspects of fan engagement during the 2016 season:

- An additional focus on post-match functions or events

- That the Member Committee would look to bring together fans into a group to create a more engaging atmosphere at Wests Tigers games

- Ensuring that the Wests Tigers brand has a stronger visual presence in the community

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said it was great to get the input of this diverse group of Members.

“When we put together the Member Committee we were hoping to get some strong input from the group and this recent meeting was a great example of that,” said Pascoe. “The group provided some great ideas that we’ll be looking to implement throughout the year.”

The Wests Tigers Member Committee will meet for the third time next month, with the focus of the discussion to be on the Club’s community work.

Wests Tigers Members who would like to submit a question, or provide input into the discussion on community work, can email <membership@weststigers.com.au>.
