I kinda share the same sentiments.
Know we're sick of hearing the term but we are currently in a rebuild process and the players we recruit willl also play a major role in the vision we're trying to sell.
So while I understand we're at a standstill and urgently need some improvement, I'm a little nervous the club/coach may not be able to mitigate any further damage (to the team's culture or the club's image or brand) if there is any subsequent downfall from signing these two players.

There's a reason certain dysfunction is the only thing rooted at the club. We don't have too many players enforcing high standards and positively representing our brand.
I don't get it and it's confusing.
Seems compromise is the only option, despite the message they continually tell us about driving change.
I honestly don't know anymore as at the same time I also really don't wish for us to get the wooden spoon either.

I’d feel much better about losing if we were adding all effort players like Twal. Rather than flash in the pan boom or bust types. We need to be putting some good role models around our young group. BJ, JTJ, TPJ etc etc they ain’t gonna change the joint…

Tariq Sims is the one we should target. Current SOO player, leader, professional. Getting him means LL can come of the bench as impact player. He is too slow laterally and unfit to be playing 80.

We are seriously scraping the bottom of the recruitment barrel with Scott, Elliott, Woods.
I know we suck but I’d stick with these kids and increase some of their contracts namely Laurie and Stefano before I contemplate players no one else will sign.

We're in a hole. We dig enough holes, we're bound to strike oil eventually, so why not take a punt, with smart contract clauses as others have mentioned.
So maybe they're grubs...I'm personally sick of being on the receiving end with no rebuttal, so at least they'll be our grubs unsettling the opposition. We got rid of Brown for disciplinary reasons, media never mentions that coz the world forgets player indiscretions once they find success.

Also, I'd take Woodsy back. I feel like he regretted his decision as soon as he'd made it. His last season for us was immense.
