we need to build our squad, most on here write off older experienced signings for players peaking and about to hit a decline like Sims and Finucane disregarding their leadership qualities and what they bring to a squad. Well here is a player yet to peak that has similar characteristics without the suspension sheet that Simms is known for and has age on his side.

I disagree with the purchase of certain players just to get up the ladder. The Bulldogs have done it which might get them to 8th spot but no higher. Thier salary cap is already stuffed just to possible make 8th? No thanks..it's a long game. Have to be thinking top 4 or nothing.

Scott when he is playing to the best of his ability is a very good player.
And we need centres BADLY. More than any other position imo.
BUT, he is a goose. And apparently needs to stop drinking. Sydney probably not the best place for this to happen.

Elliot whilst not elite is a massive goer and an upgrade to what we currently have. He is definitely a goose but would be good for enthusiasm alone if he can also get off the ink.
I assume he would have to earn the respect of his new teammates more than most players would.
Also, if it stops Madge thinking Twal is a bloody lock im all for it


Hope Doueihi doesn’t become the new Mbye. I’m thinking he’s a 3, 4 or 13? Who can fill a temporary job at 1, or 6.
He needs to nail down a position in 2022.

Yep, we just need to smart about it, 1 year deals with club options and get out clauses.

As long as we don't over commit, these would be signings that would help the club as it would give another 12 months for the young guys to develop and become leaders of the team. By then we start to see the Flegg guys pushing through as well.
