Yeah it’s a decision lacking brains alright.
Played 40 games here scoring just 10 tries and winning just 7 games.
We need better.

Name the better quality centres who are realistic recruitment options who could be signed without paying massive overs ?
It’s all good saying you want better, signing them is easier said than done.

It’s been obvious for years that our centre stocks are an afterthought.
Our club does not value the position and as such, any decent stock has been locked up by our rivals and we missed the boat.
The only way forward is a big purchase.

The current recruitment team obviously recognise this by targeting Bradman Best.
Don’t forget Benji and Fulton are only new to the scene as far as our recruitment goes, so they can’t help what’s happened in the past.
We won’t get Bradman Best unless we pay him over 1 million per season, which is obviously far too much to pay a centre with the Salary Cap in mind, but he’s a player we may have to consider over paying to bring him to the club and install a bit of hope in our fans.

Yeh, you're right, just like Jahream Bula.

He's played 18 games here, scoring just 5 tries and winning just 4 games.

We need better.

...You don't have to be a fan of Star, but I'm not sure those stats really speak to his success at centre, do they?

The POD Made reference to their summary of the the POD today saying DT are unprofessional but were professional enough to write up an article on the petition.

Great pod guys. Always enjoy your insights & passion for the club. A lot of speculation going on based on hearsay & agenda-driven press. I believe this review by Tony Crawford & Gary Barnier will be a turning point for the club in a good way and myself am glad someone with Barnier's support for the club is conducting the review as he'll want what's best for the club moving forward.

I don’t think he’s currently as good as Joey Manu either, I’m simply stating there is absolutely no chance we will be able to sign Bradman Best for any less than 1 million per season.
Whether he’s worth that money or not is very debatable.
When you consider we are not paying any of our spine anywhere near 1 million per season as most other clubs are, that means we do have more cap space than normal to spend on other positions if we wish to.
The danger would be if our young spine live up to their potential, they will demand big pay increases to keep them, so that should be in the back of our Salary Cap Manager’s mind too.
