No offence to the guy but he’s one of the ~16 most powerful members of the club and his involvement:

A good interview and it was obvious that he wants the club to be far more professional from top to bottom.There is only one faction that everyone should be a member of and that is the WT faction.Onwards and upwards for WT,let's make 2025 a solid basis for our future and to make WT a true powerhouse in the NRL

Also, the original intention was to protect the heritage of Western Suburbs football, which is fine, 25 years on - is it time they added some protections for Wests Tigers too?

I wouldn’t hold your breath about that happening …

Whilst it was brave of John to speak up …I did find a depressing element to a lot of things he discussed …he used the term “marriage of convenience “ … and that’s what it has been hasn’t it …. I used to think the stories that boardroom stouches over how much orange was in the jersey was just a myth … but obviously not the case …
