Wests Tigers set to part ways with Mick Potter ??

I can't remember where I read but there have been reports Potter has poor communication with the players. Don't know if there's any truth to this and we don't know what goes on at the club, but if those on the inside don't see him delivering is a premiership then who are we as outside punters to comment?

In saying that, I want Potter to stay as I believe all coaches need two seasons to prove themselves, especially this one given he is coaching a side assembled by someone who should be contained in a mental asylum

I agree with all the sentiments on here. I think a petition is needed if they go down this path. We can't be another parramatta!

From what I've seen quoted from Bailey, I have no faith in the board. They seem like A grade amatures. They are lucky that a good CEO like Mayer fell in their laps.

I got the feeling towards the end of last year Farah was extremely frustrated with Sheens. 2013 was a big year as his contract was up for renewal, and the fact he signed on so early in the year after only two games under Potter made me think he liked what he saw.

No I think you might be referring to my observation that he has been quickly onto Twitter to deny virtually every other rumour going, but not regarding this - only a vague comment about Potter having a contract for next year.

I also would be very disappointed if this is true. How anyone could condemn him on what he has inherited and what has happened re injuries/distractions this year is beyond me.

I will support them whatever they are going through, even if i don't think they are making the right decisions or have wrongly gotten rid of a coach or even if we got the spoon 10 years in a row. These are the times true supporters stick with their club. I applaud Parra fans who turn up to every home game knowing that they will probably get rolled by 40\. Our beloved Wests Tigers need us more then ever so stick with them !!!! Anyway back to the topic we should definitely keep Potter. This is got to be a gee up whats the point of handing a new coach a poisoned chalice at the start of the year and hoping he drinks it because he went in there hamstrung from the start. I did not expect miracles in his first year , so surely the board had this in mind given the bottom line contract he was on. Shame on the Board or if players are behind this, he deserves better.

Exactly. I love the varied opinions on this forum but i dont want any of us actually making decisions that impact on the team.
