Wests Tigers set to part ways with Mick Potter ??

The Board need to dismiss themselves. What a bunch of unprofessional time wasters this lot are. I knew this joint venture was in trouble when they named it 'Wests Tigers'. Had it been just the Tigers I'd have given it a chance. If Potter goes because of this group of dunderheads then I'll follow someone else, and I have been a
tiger supporter since 1968.

if he is right this time then the board need to look at our "star" playmaker marshall and go, hmmm is he putting out good value for money? could the fact that he is taking up so much cap space that we cant afford a decent half and some big forwards. is this potters fault?
if this is true, i think i will join outback jack, thats ridiculous, what do they want from someone who adopted a team that was disjointed and infected with a boys club disease?
i think marshall may have something to do with this. wouldnt be surprised if they go cya potter and marshall magically re-signs with the tigers on an undisclosed salary
 
Sack the Board , the lot . It seems they can't honour anyone's contract .
How is this Potter's fault he has inherited Sheens squad.
 
And bring back Tim (450k) Sheens?

I haven't been as positive about Potter's performance this year as many on here have, but I'd be shocked if they didn't honor the two year deal. I agree it would be morally wrong and stupid as well. The club néeds some kind of stability.

Who is driving all this? Who is running the joint?
 
I am serious when I say this.

If they sack Potter, I am out. I've been thinking about it for a while but my love for this club has waned a lot. I don't need to balance so much of my emotion on the outcomes of this club. They are not worth my support any more and this will be the straw that breaks the camels back.

If Potter is sacked tonight I don't think I'll be posting on here any more. So just in case it was nice chatting with you all, even the ones I've had disagreements with I've grown to like. If some of you were board members the club would be worth supporting.

I won't be supporting any other clubs either. The NRL is just as much at fault with the idiotic standard of refereeing and the stupid rule changes. The game is ruined.
 
I refuse to believe it. How are they going to pay him out when we are already paying out another ex-coach. Him not being re-signed beyond next yr is plausible, them sacking him this yr isn't cos they can't afford to.

I'm not fully up to scratch with ways the board works in terms of numbers. However, is it possible that Wests and Balmain could have say one member from each side as a representative and the rest are taken up by astute business men and women? Don't quite understand how people like a weatherman and a former gold medallist swimmer, or a bunch of old players can run a multi-million dollar company. This club isn't the celebrity apprentice. Could anyone explain this better to me?

Ps. I don't want this turning into a Balmain vs Wests thing at all. I'm just curious as to why that's how we still treat it like so. Surely this is causes infighting. We are Wests Tigers after all.

Dawnie, Sirro, Di Giglio ….. Don't know the rest .... But you can be sure it is made up of Wests Ashfield Leagues directors and Balmain Tigers directors ...... Until they overhaul this archaic structure .... The Wests Tigers may not exist in five or so years.
