Anyone think the silence from the board/Pascoe is deafening?

They could have shot this down straight away given their stance in the past?

The Daily Telegraph contacted Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe on Thursday afternoon about the prospect of signing Farah before June 30.

When asked if the joint-venture club had interest in Farah, Pascoe replied: “No.”

The Tigers boss was again contacted on Friday morning regarding reports Farah was poised to return to his junior club.

Pascoe refused to comment, saying: “We will not be commenting publicly on matters of recruitment and retention up until the June 30 deadline.

…....

The change in stance overnight pretty much confirms it’s on

Cleary can control Farah easily. If Robbie doesn't play to his tune in first grade there's a ready made spot for him playing half in ISP.

Like there was last time he was here. He doesn't take too kindly to that.

The difference is he comes back knowing it will happen. The JT thing was a powerplay between two stubborn personalities. Robbie's smart enough to know Ivan won't partake in that sort of conflict. IF is is to happen, it will be a far more humble Robbie that arrives - he holds no power in the negotiation.

Also there will be no Farah minions running around the club, A playing group consisting of Packer,Taylor, Mataluino, Reynolds etc are not going to put up with those types of antics anyway.
If he returns he will return as a player not as the captain or the focal point of the team, He will be on the level as everyone else is.

One of the biggest issues many on this subject need to understand is you support your team first an players come very secondary as do the coaches

Not vice versa Yes you can support both and you should back whoever the coach picks

But when your love of a player exceeds your love of the club , something's not right

And the same goes for your hatred of a player (as a player ) when it exceeds your support for the club then it is an issue

Hmmmm you said a couple pages back if we were to sign Robbie you would hand in your WT membership… what's the deal?

What people on this forum need to really understand is that we are all s*** talkers (myself included) and sure we all have a right to an opinion. But in reality, remember, none of us have contributed to this club anything comparable to what RF and any player/coach has and we all form opinions on innuendo, be it a positive or a negative opinion.

As far as I’m concerned I trust in Ivan Cleary based on what I see (the way he speaks) and I suggest we all respect and trust his decision.

It doesn’t matter if you are a 50 year lifetime supporter or a new supporter nor does it matter if you are a lifetime member or band wagon jumper we are all equal in our opinions which means NOTHING.

The doomsdayers will change their view if there is success and optimistic will change their view if there is failure….....but it all still means NOTHING

Geez the way some are carrying on….he is coming and it will only be for half a year .

Yeah he acted stupidly at the time but he felt a need to do so for the falling outs he had in the football office, he was sticking to his rights of the Contract that he had .

If we agree or disagree on him coming back is irrelevant as we have issues in our hooking area and he will clean up the ruck with 30-40 tackles a game give him his chance just like Benji was given.

What a brilliant post

would not take him back, even if he personally deliver to us Taumalolo, Teikeaho, Crighton this year, and on top of that, pay every WT member $1,000 as a sorry token for his serial BS :sign:

Farah back in Tigers colours where he belongs.

Let's give this LEGEND a proper farewall.

I gave him a proper farewell last time he left while burning bridges, accusing the club of welfare deficiencies that directly led to the suicide of a young player and using his media contacts to drag the club and anyone that did not buy into his agenda through the mud.
I can’t repeat that farewell here due to the offensive language rules, needless to say I never want to see him wearing the jersey again.
Him as a mentor is like cyanide as an after dinner tipple.

Yeah then putting up Akouala as an example of driving a player toward suicide and how poor the Clubs approach to welfare was even though they ranked highly after the Mosese tragedy seems forgotten…

Anyhow A month ago was told it would never happen guess times change ..on the field you could never question Farah's commitment ...

That was disgraceful and he should be ashamed of himself for that…the fact he didnt distance himself from his agent showed he endorsed it

Just one of a few reasons I won't be happy to see him back. And his quotes about how bitter he still feels toward Jason Taylor show that he really hasn't put it all behind him.
