Wests Tigers star Robbie Farah dropped from NRL to reserve grade

Make no mistake this is an ego play from Jason Taylor. I find it offensive that he can say this is the best 17 we can field. Farah's form has been good, even taking into account that JT has put the shackles on him - "dont run from dummy half, just pass off the floor".

TBH Robbie could have been in career best form and JT would have still dropped him to reserve grade. He just doesnt like the bloke, so for him to come up with all these emabarassing excuses like team cohesion is a disgrace.

The sooner JT is out of the club, the better

He handled it well. Straight answers.

If you call lying handling it well, he again went on about the good of the team, every player under pressure to keep their spot not just Robbie.
What a crock of you know what, what about Rankin, he played terrible last start and is a slow half playing on the wing, Kev lets god knows how many try's in every week, Brooks misses heaps of tackles, Aloiai is offering squat, Halatau well is Halatau.
All these players need to go before Farah, yet the only players dropped on this accountability façade are JAC, Sirro and Farah, one rule for some, another rule for everyone else, the guy is a really bad man manager, with no idea.

I think you need some clarification on what 'lying' means

Geez you are a very funny man, JT tell lies, he can't be trusted, but you keep on loving the guy.

I cant believe the Farah haters have actually convinced themselves that the imposter can coach. A self claimed defensive coach, yet we have the second worst defensive record. We have a right hand side who let in 2 to 3 tries every game and pretty much cost us games, yet they have shown no improvement and have had no accountability. If the whole team was accountable and all players who didnt deserve to be there were dropped then you would not have the uproar that is going on.

this ones interesting too :

Jason Taylor quote

“The cohesion is something I’ve been concerned about and looking at for a while **_but it’s only been on the back of the way the team has played the last seven games,_** where we’ve got to the point where I believe we’re better with Robbie not in the team,”
\
\
So lets look at the Tigers last 7 games that Taylor is referring to.
\
\
Round 18 Bulldogs Loss 32-22, No Farah
Round 17 Penrith. Win 34-26, Farah played. 1 try 1 line break assist, 3 tackle breaks.
Round 16 Storm Loss 29-20, No Farah
Round 15 Bye
Round 14 Rabbits Win 30-14 Farah played. 1 try, 4 tackle breaks
Round 13 Roosters Loss 32-18\. No Farah
Round 12 Broncos Win 19-18\. No Farah
Round 11 Knights Win 20-12 No Farah

Of the last 7 Tigers games Farah has played 2 games for 2 wins (100% win record)

Of the 5 games without Farah the Tigers have won 2 and lost 3 ( 40% win record)

I dont love him. I follow the club. Hes the coach, thats all
You however seem to despise him, loathe him…yet you talk about him every day...strange habit there.

What lies does he tell?

I don't talk about him every day I have laid off him for a while now, but after yesterday no more laying off him.
He said every player was under pressure to hold their spot, not just Robbie, he has said this a few times this year, that is an out and out lie, there are players who get picked every week who shouldn't, only Farah, Sirro and JAC are these rules applied.

You cant tell the difference between your opinion, and someone lying.

LOL

I'm all for trying to move robbie on, but this certainly seems personal.
The better decision surely would have been to keep him on the bench for longer and longer periods of time.

It was not that long ago everyone was up in arms at Potter moving Benji on. Turns out that probably wasn't a bad call.

All you can do is wait and see how this pans out but I highly doubt it's the disaster everyone's predicting. Particularly since he's only played just over half of our games so far this season.

How will this be sorted out:
**IF** wests tigers win against dragons & Robbie puts in a stellar performance in reserve grade.

If you think players are held accountable, you believe in the tooth fairy, and any how, you are are just as bad, your opinion is right, mine is wrong, you spend too long on here believing what you type, don't worry about me.

Theres lies, and there are lies….and then theres opinioons
The world revolves around BS...everyone does it every day.
Youd have to be pretty naive to think it doesnt exist in the NRL...its everywhere

Forget going to the NRL game on Sunday. I'm going to watch Farah on Saturday as my form of protest.

Imagine that new crowd record of 26 people at a NSW Cup game

At least the real WT's fans can support their club without having to listen to the anti Taylor whingers

I think we are slowly heading in the right direction and also think Taylor deserves to see his 3 year term out

I don't back every call he makes , but I don't think I'd back every call that any coach of this club will make , even if we won a premiership

I feel we are slightly overachieving , but don't have the cattle , haven't changed my opinion on this

I think what many, and this includes members of the press, are struggling with is the fact that Farah is one of the top 17 players in the squad based on ability, experience and skill. The issue is that with Taylor coming into the team, he is now the 4th or perhaps even 5th best play maker.

You can't have 4 or more play makers in one team. Hence, given where he is in that pecking order, he misses out.

It gets more confusing given that Farah could go to any other NRL club and get a start, because he would likely be one of the top 3 play makers.

Good point Gary.

Give it a rest with the insults please Tigerman80.

If not, can someone with the dump button please give him a rest (if not already done).

Oh, Tigerman. I know this is a confusing and challenging time. When THE IMPOSTER sacks Robbie, it makes you feel like your world has turned upside down. Chin up, old fella.

(FWIW, I think Farah should have remained on the bench, but this is the biggest emotional explosion we've seen on the forum for years.)
