Also the same coach that has the squad on 7 wins this year, has the team performing better than Rabbits, Roosters and Sea Eagles despite a vastly inferior squad and training facilities etc. They have won 3 less games than the Broncs for crying out loud!

I am no JT Fan but the hysteria on here about this decision and his supposed lack of coaching skill is absurd. Think some people have forgotten or were not old enough to remember the Terry Lamb days…

The coach that has the same squad that is running behind the titans and the dragons. I would say they are over achieving and we are under achieving. Give it up already. The sooner he is gone the better. From now on he will only be referred to as THE IMPOSTER, i reckon everyone on here should only call him by that from now on. You can be THE IMPOSTERS PUPPET.

Guess these facts aren't as important as yours. It doesn't matter what you say or think because the coach has made the call. You though are more than welcome to go stroke Wobbies ego some more at Leichhardt this Saturday. I'm sure it'll be standing room only

You are a very little man aren't u ant!
Ill be there…
Won't be at the scarecrow gathering on Sunday!

6ft2 actually but sure if it makes you feel better.

Good for you that you are supporting reserves! Do you support the NSW Cup team regularly or will you only be attending to support your favourite player? I mean screw the rest of the squad hey!

I actually am one of the few dozen that actually attends reserves, junior games including Flegg & Ball etc especially at Leichhardt and had intentions of being there on Saturday but dealing with the media scrum and the dozen Farah cheer squad members has dampened my enthusiasm this week.

Hope it stings like all hell

A very accurate article by Andrew Webster in the online SMH about the treatment of a club legend, worth reading as he's hit the nail on the head about the reasons for his dropping,
To some it will be another case of " can't believe him he's a reporter"
But I bet he's closer to the truth than anyone else today
Sorry can't get links

Forget going to the NRL game on Sunday. I'm going to watch Farah on Saturday as my form of protest.

Imagine that new crowd record of 26 people at a NSW Cup game

At least the real WT's fans can support their club without having to listen to the anti Taylor whingers

Oh no, Happy, don't believe that. When I was at ANZ for the Souths game, a certain group of "supporters" spent most of the game abusing JT. I found it very distasteful but I guess they let anyone in if they pay their money.

My own view of all this is that I've supported Wests and the Wests Tigers for about 55 years and if I didn't waver when Tommy Raudonikis went to Newtown (I believe that Singleton paid out his gambling debts to get him there), I'll certainly keep supporting the West Tigers after Robbie gets dumped to reserves. I want to see this club in a position where it's an honour to play reserves for us.

Has there been anything planned for Denes farewell?
Has anyone even thought of him, or considered him?
Its a crap game NRL, with crap culture everywhere

All we heard a few months ago at Parra was poor nathan Peats, nathan peats had to up and leave to the gold coast, the fans applauded at the 9th minute in hoonour of his number nine, nathan peats, souths junior, yet local junior Ryan Morgan was forgotten, he also had to up and leave

Farah maybe should ask dene why he will get a farewell, and robbie doesnt

I just don't get it….really.

JT talks about our position on the ladder and I think most would agree that it's our defence that is the real issue and the right side with Moses is the real problem here.

We have no issue scoring points whether Robbie is on or off the field yet JT says he is stifling the halves.

He says there are too many play makers but we bring in ET as another first receiver.

In the past 7 games we have improved. Farah has been a part of most of those games.

I suppose I fall under the banner of a Robbie supporter but I am also a realist - if was playing poorly I would be happy with his demotion.

I just think there are other things at play here and we being treated as mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed crap).

That's the bit that really irks me.

It's cool bud, my 'reputation' doesn't pay out actual dollars (or am I missing out on some cashola here mods  )

I just find it amazing the hysteria with this decision, it would be interesting to know of all the threats here and on facebook how many actually go ahead and attend Reserves or throw in their supposed memberships?

Here's a tip for my 'mates' on here, the only real say you can get at your club is by signing up as a member of either Magpies or BTDRLFC. I have been a paid up member of BTDRLFC since 1999\. It only costs $20 for 3 years (Magpies are a little costlier) and you get a snazzy key ring and can join in with your views at the AGM or show your commitment and stand for the board. From memory there is only about 1400 paid up members left so you have a pretty good shot (I believe Robbie is a BTRLFC member from memory so ask him on Saturday if he'll support you :stuck_out_tongue: ).

I gotta be honest, I’m not Farah’s biggest fan. But the way he’s been treated is just down right disrespectful.

Do we need him to go so we can secure ET? Probably. But you don’t name a club legend in the team and then drop him 24 hours later for no reason. It makes the club look like a basket-case to the entire league (maybe not next to the Eels).

I really just feel for Robbie. He’s been treated poorly since being told to leave last year, and then this year being subjected to JT’s stupid games. He dug his head in after being named on the bench, and played great. By all accounts, our team has been better with him there. The players seem to really like him (open to speculation). Even though his form is not as good as it should be, he’s without a doubt the best hooker we have, and then he gets treated like this. All due respect to Halatau but he doesn’t deserve to be playing over Robbie. First JT says we need two hookers in a game, now we don’t need any?!

I’ve think as fans we’ve all put up with a lot from JT and tried to remain hopeful. He seemed to be getting the idea and had the team going well. But this is just something else to divide the team further rather than unite it. If we come out and smash the Dragons by 40 then maybe I’ll eat my words, but I can’t see any good coming from this.

I also fear how this will affect the signing of someone like Teddy….

Bravo you two - pats on the back to a couple of real WTs supporters

Yes must be a real honour for a rep player to be selected to play reserves two weeks after representing
his state and Farah will have the honour of possibly being the first and the last to ever be afforded that great privilege.
And although some fans with delusions of grandeur
about their superior judgement may see it as futile to go and watch him at this most unique event (although
he will more than likely be lucky enough to have
regular appearances) - if I choose to I will
cheer loudly, heckle if I want about this absurd
situation and not really care a rat's who or how
many others are there or even what category of supporter I am perceived as, for doing so. Quite frankly been to more than one FG fixture with little more than a few thousand fans anyway.
Plus get to see Sirro and JAC too way to go JT.

This is the same coach that kept Lovett in the centers instead of Lawrence and lost us the game.
You forgot that fact out

The difference between me and you(and the other mAgpie supporters on here with yiur point of view) is that im a Tigers supporter. I will be at ANZ stadium cheering the tigers on, and hoping we smash the dragons with or without robbie. Maybe you shouldnt be so one eyed and call it like it is, the imposter cAnt coach, he cant manage people. He has no consistency in his decisions. Our biggest problem is defence and not attack. Our right has not been held accountable all year, even though they cost us games week in and week out. Our defence is getting worse and he is worried about our attack lol, give me a break. oh and by the way rhe last 2 games robbie played of the bench we scored 30 and 34 points. Cant see how that is stiffling our attack lol. Im a tigers fan, i want the best team to be out there getting us to semis. I wouldnt be too upset if robbie wasnt here next year, but the way its being handled i think will have the opposite result. Anyways go you mighty tigers.

Robbie Farah was told to leave over a year ago. However, unlike everyone else who has ever been told to leave a club or their place of employment Farah decided he is not going. Just like the gang of five he decides he is not going and not only that he lets his manager rubbish the club he supposedly loves.

Robbie I feel sorry for you, you have been very very badly advised by the person who is supposed to be looking after your best interests. Have a talk to Matt Ballin and ET about being sacked, accept the decision of the boss and move on.

Its the club who should hang its head in shame. I want Farah gone but I also ant him paid in full for 2016/2017\. I am sure if this was to happen he would walk away. The reality is we have vindictive people who have their own self interest at heart who are trying to run him out of town with another club paying the bill. At least we might challenge in reserve grade next year.

For the stat lovers in us all….

Stats Insider: The biggest winner of Jason Taylor’s call to dump Tigers star Robbie Farah

by BEN GLOVER WITH FOX SPORTS LAB
............THE VERDICT

There’s no doubt from a statistical point-of-view that Taylor has made the right call and Moses must be licking his lips at the prospect of finishing the season as one of his side’s most influential figures.

But what the numbers can’t describe is the mood at Concord, with the gravity of Taylor’s call sure to be causing shock waves throughout the player group.

A jolt like that can go one of two ways but if the response is positive and the Tigers put in a top performance on their way to a win over the Dragons, it could provide the impetus for a run to the finals that has seemed highly unlikely for the majority of this season.

http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/tigers/stats-insider-the-biggest-winner-of-jason-taylors-call-to-dump-tigers-star-robbie-farah/news-story/ee6cd440ba5f90fa3445ced498a68d05

For all the conspiracy theorists out there, here's a theory for you if you need one. The season is at a critical point, Taylor knows it, the team knows it. Play, to our best ability, to the game plan, and we're in the 8\. The team now has a clear choice to keep winning for the season or not, without RF in the mix. If there is still some kind of 'background noise' from RF with the team it should become evident now. Taylor is clearly staking his position in the club with this one. "I'm the coach, we'll do it my way."

Yes, a legacy of the legendary Grant Mayer … What a disaster he was.
The current situation cannot be allowed to go on. The club will just have to take a massive hit to their finances if they can't find him a new club for 2017.
