Like muffstar, **I too am concerned how Benjs head will be.**

Benji will be fine. He is playing in the tightest playing group in the NRL. The fellas will get behind him big time.

It's actually a game where they would benefit from Beau's enthusiasm, it's very infectious and would put Benji at ease.

Cant add much to what everyone else said but I thought Latu would get a go infront of Utai on wing. Also I don't rate Brown as a winger really but I have high regards of him as a player and more as a fullback. I hoped it would be Brown at FB rather than Mckinnon but hopefully Mcks can prove me wrong.

Also, I hoped Moltzen could get some time in the State Cup, thats not happening either.

Anyways, not many surprises. Proud of this team and if Benji is in a proper state of mind, Tigers will rip up the bulldogs for sure.

I agree with the first bit - I would've liked Latu on the wing and Brown at fullback also, but I read in another thread that Latu was injured and out for a month. Don't know what Brown has done wrong to not get a place in first grade somewhere. I rate him a better FB than McKinnon these days. Maybe he's a bit underdone at the moment - only Sheens knows.

Nice to see the talented Moltzen down as the obligatory back on the bench now. Just hope he gets more than 3 minutes game time! Good to see Payten there as well, thought he was still injured. Benji will be fine. Let's rip it up, Tigers!! :sign:

Did Latu play any trials in firsts at all?
Dont think so….so dont see how anyone could expect him to start in front of a bloke that played both games with the senior squad.

I think this game has the potential to EXPLODE!! :astonished:

Sorry mate, didn't see that, my bad. Perhaps it was a pre-season injury, which would explain why he didn't get a go in the trials. Glad he's back though, I think Latu has a big future.

Very strong team, Utai has proven himself for a starting spot though, only time will tell who goes where i suppose..

I'd love to know how Sheens plans to use Moltzen off the bench. If he gives him the standard 5 to 10 mins that he usually gives the 17th player then all its gonna do is delay Moltzens return to form. I hate the idea of changing halfbacks throughout a game and Robbie will play 80 minutes, so i guess that leaves Mckinnon to be replaced. That puts a lot of pressure on Moltzen, he's yet to prove himself as a fullback and now he has to do it coming back from a knee reconstruction with just 40 minutes of game time under his belt. Harsh move by Sheens.

So do you think Moltzen should have been playing State Cup these next couple of week? coz thats what I want TBH to speed up his return to form. But people have suggested State Cup and first grade are miles different even thought I have argued in the past that Moltzen needs confidence and form will come once he gets to first grade whether off the bench or halfback.
