if it was john smith had played 20 or 30 games who cares, jennings dropped about 5 bombs against titans and was hammered on here Asu drops a few and oh its ok give him time he will be good. Hope he is good in the future by the way.

I’m not a fan of Jennings because he lacks finishing ability . That power or pace or elusiveness that even moderate wingers have . Kepoa appears to have that from what I saw , despite how bad the team went . Also that’s fine if Jennings doesn’t have it . But he needs to be rock solid . Of which he isn’t . But he’s clearly fringe NRL . So he hardly sucks . It’s just he’s not elite .

spud you can compare them they are still performances. When he came back in the team jennings scored a try and did his hammy. Yes it was a terrible game from jennings but not any worse than the two debutants really.

The difference Jedi is that Jennings regularly has shockers, even when the team as a whole plays pretty well and he is an 80 game player. Heck, he has very nearly even lost us a couple of games through his school boy errors, even when we’ve had the ascendency.

Asu in his debut with a brand new club was on the end of a backline that had probably its worst performance of the season, maybe even two seasons. I still can’t logically compare them. As GNR said if Asu and Hoffman are still playing poorly after a season of NRL under their belts then don’t worry they will cop the same treatment as Jennings has from plenty on here.

Let’s be serious .... doesn’t matter how bad the rest of backline performed he dropped EVERYTHING they threw at him.

Would’ve preferred Blore to Seyfarth that’s for sure. Would like to know the reasoning of leaving Blore out this week, is it because he did something wrong? Is it to give him a break and give Seyfarth some match fitness at the same time? On paper it doesn’t make sense

Seyfarth played up the middle for us earlier in the year. He’s normally a lock. McIntyre plays up the middle for us normally too - neither guys are really that big and don’t impose themselves up the middle of the field.

Hopefully our starting props play a good 60 minutes or more.
