That used to be the old way Ink...we are in a new era and we are about to turn it around...

We wont need it,I honestly think that this team is going to thrive under Madge...it does take some time and reshuffling at times,but,the young guys are stepping up and learning...just look at Sam McIntyre,people thought he is only a CC player,he was given a chance by Madge and he played well at NRL level and will improve more...
If you look at it from the outside looking in,we have some older experienced players here and the young guys are feeding off them...Benji sitting on the sidelines,due to defensive issues,has seen Brooks play a more involved running game and playing whats infront of him...whats not to like about watching him play his natural game and not be restricted the way he was with Benji mostly calling the shots...Im not having a dig at Benj but his time is drawing to an end in this team..
Brooks will improve as he is left to play his role in the team( I was a critic of his for awhile but now he is playing his natural game he looks better and the team is playing better)….BE POSITIVE HAPPY...IT MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND..

I did have but Hobo told me you have better use for it and have sent it to Gladstone...apparently Qlders thrive on fairy dust...:grin:

Knights coach said his fringe players are playing against the cowboys fringe players in a short nines game this week. Club needs to organise one of these ASAP for our boys.

Agree 100% with all that, have been saying it for 2 years, Brooks will get better with Benji out of the team, let's hope Brooks takes it up another level on sunday night and we are in the 8

Is it just me but the last few years every time we play the dogs we go in understrength or we get hit hard with injuries during the game

Every time we play them we also struggle to score points, scoring 16, 8 and 4 in the last 3 matches. I think we’ve tried to out grind them, but may need a more expansive game to win this time.

If you think about last year in Round 3 where we had won our 1st 2 games and were red hot favorites to beat the dogs and lost, then later in the year in a must win game we lost again to the dogs.
There a bogey team for us just like we are with the cowboys that's why we all are nervous about this game.
I am usually pessimistic when it comes to these games but i have a positive feeling with the Team's new resolve and X factor of Harry grant wanting to win that the team will win in a close one, i think the Tigers know how crucial this year in a shortened season how critical it is to be in the 8 than out of it.

Panthers the following week and on there form that should be difficult but not impossible. Good to see Souths lost last night if they did not score that last try we would have been in the 8 now....

Every time we play them we also struggle to score points, scoring 16, 8 and 4 in the last 3 matches. I think we’ve tried to out grind them, but may need a more expansive game to win this time.

What's the old adage? You need to go forwards before you can go sideways.
If we start strong in the middle I have faith the boys out wide will deliver point.
If not we lose in a grind, simple as that.

Yep have to agree bit also in past seasons we have been selected as red hot favorites to win - its a mindset with former bulldogs players in our side as well.
Playing them twice this year expect reverse performances and win both this year to even it up. Besides commentators said last week that this was the 8 already and we were 9th, there is always a team that drops out later in the season, Souths or Manly are possibilities. Commentators curse always happens.....

I noticed that too. With the live ladder on fox we moved into 8th when Panthers scored with 5 mins to go. I can’t understand how they let Souths score that last try with only 11 players on the field.
