Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla Rd 3

Thompson is probably another one who is unlucky to miss out, but you consider the 2 games he had this year were bog average and the Sharks have some rather large outside backs. I'm sure he'll be back in the mix within the next few weeks.

Bench lacks any impact at all...
Surely Musgrove has to come in for one of them?
Lawry, Clark, Seyfarth ALL workers.
Musgrove would give you impact.

You would expect Musgrove in for Clark or possibly Walters if we don't run with a utility.

Yeah Madge is always looking to drink the opposition before the ball is kicked also is musgrove injured?

Disappointed Musgrove not in 17. Can only assume he didn’t work hard during isolation. Feel sorry for Thompson but I understand why Jennings is there. Unlike many I actually think Jennings could go ok

Massive fan of Twal at lock. Really improves our starting pack. Surprised Musgrove isn’t on the bench but Madge would have his reasons, maybe he didn’t return in great shape or maybe Madge wants a more mobile pack against the sharks big fellas, keen for Seyfarth to play.

Rest of the team is how I expected it but overall quite a lot stronger than the first two rounds

Thompson was always going to be a casualty, still a shock when it actually happens.

The bench might well be a reflection of the shift back to one referee and the 6 again rule. Madge might think we'll benefit more from having a more mobile pack.

Wow 21 for Musgrove. How good must Clark and Seyfarth be!

We know how good Clark is. Not very.

He’s not bad. Solid but nothing special. Would’ve preferred Musgrove but there would be a reason for it.

One of the people im worried about on Sharks team is Rudolf

he is a beast

I can’t say i’ve ever worried about a prop unless it’s someone like Payne Hass. They aren’t game breakers.

Yeah I had the same thought. Sharks have a lot of big fellas too so if the new rules work as planned having a more mobile pack isn’t a bad idea

yep true

very very excited for Grant and Seyfarth as well

I really like this team and looking forward to see quite a few newcomers being trialed in what remains of this years comp.
Our flanks continue to be of concern but am sure that Madge and his recruiters will address this in the off season.

Finally Twal to 13. Been waiting for this for a while. He's a workhorse, not an impact player. Lock is the right spot for him.

The bench is interesting. Only one prop if I'm reading this correctly. Reminds me of the Sheenius days.

Clarke is a prop. Seyfarth can play there or he goes to lock and Twal shifts to prop which is essentially the same thing. So really it’s two props and a second rower and utility.
