WESTS Tigers Team V Dogs

Can not see Taylor dropping Deano, he is insurance if Farah gets hurt. I would think if anyone was going to get left off the bench it would be the young kid Josh A.

You could always have one of the halves (Brooks) in at Dummy Half like we had in Round One and Lawrence at 5/8\. If Robbie went down. I thought Littlejohn did at good job in r1.

Taylor played 3 or 4 games for the Warriors at starting hooker

Taylor has played quite a bit of dummy half. Bit like Lewis Brown, with a better pass.

Elijah Taylor will obviously play but who he comes in for I have no idea…Everyone is calling for Halatau and it's probably the right decision but can you really see JT dropping a Vice Captain?

Would like to see Taylor in for Siro but I'm sure hell will freeze over before Siro is dropped.

How good is Bryce Cartwright. And still only 21\. He is everything i hopped Siro would be. :frowning:
But is not…

Good side. Handy having Lawerence. We can name him starting at 2nd Row, then switch into the backs to cover for injury. Then name four forwards on the bench.

Chris will be on a high from the City v Country game, so hopefully he'll play out of his skin for us.

Dene has to go however I can't remember the last time I saw him play in reserves. Untouchable?
Can't believe ET isn't straight into the team. He'd be fired up and wanting to show we made the right decision signing him

Kinda looking forward to the game, hopefully the previously injured players are playing and hope Hunt goes well at the back.

Keeping an eye on Siro this week.
Unlike a lot of others posting here I like the guy
And we all know there is a lot of room for improvement.
I am sure his game last week will help with his confidence
Lets see if he can show some of the talent I know he has.
Come on "SIRO" I know it's in there somewhere mate "RIP IN" or…................"Sit Down"

Rankin out. JAC in (Moses to kick).
Dene out. ET in.
Lovett out. Felise in.

I'd also add Fine and punt Sirro :unamused: but its never going to happen..!

Think you can give up on JAC getting a run unless we have no other choice. I suspect the club already knows he is gone hence not getting picked this week.

Not sure why you would drop the MOTM from the last game either….. thought everyone wanted a team picked on form?

Yes he does make Halatau a bit obsolete. If we just bought an 80 minute lock who defends well, and can fill in at second row or hooker, do we still need Dene?

Good luck to Justin Hunt. Say what you want about him, he's earned his spot through good, consistent performances at the level below - all you can ever ask of a player on the fringes.

Do you mean one (singular) consistent performance at the level below? In my opinion, Rankin had a blinder at fullback against Souths and should keep the spot. Also, if we're looking at a replacement winger, it should be JAC as we are trying to keep him. Hunt can earn his position by stringing one or two more solid performances together. Finally, I believe that Taylor and Fine should both be there and Ava should be persisted with as a starter with Grant returning on the bench.

Maybe it is that JAC has already signed with Storm so why give the position to somebody with 1 NRL game experience who has decided to go?

For years Forum members have been complaining about team selections and in particular players being picked out of place. For the last 2 years we have had more luck with injuries. I am happy JT has made minimal changes to our team this year and agree Hunt should replace Teddy at fullback.

After this round I would like to see ET at lock with Sue on bench in prop rotation.

I would like to see Ava and Woods starting and Sue and Grant replacement props.

My bench going forward would be Grant, Sue, Lovett and Alioa/Chee-Kam.

Sorry but I think Dean is on old legs and 18th man is his position.

Excuse my ignorance but has JAC signed with the Storm or not? If he hasn't then we should pick him to encourage him to stay and to see what he's got.
