WESTS Tigers Team V Dragons

I saw this on foxsports news just earlier and my heart sank…until I read it was the same incident he had a couple of months ago.
No biggie IMO...

Clearly to avoid being stood down from games in the NRL it helps if you pay off the complainants ….

I do not get it,Sutton plays but our bloke gets a week????We set the punishment, so what is the role of the integrity commission. Seems like a crazy set up to me, I wonder if we were playing a semi next week they would have handed out the same one week suspension and if the integrity commission would have over ruled the call

I've heard a lot about Gavet not having the right head for the game, i don't think Lodge's head is much better. The only difference is Lodge is a bit younger and still has a chance to snap out of it.

Lovett and maybe Buchanan again. Buchanan has been really impressive this year.

If taupau is out aswell as lodge I'd expect Buchanan and Lovett to come onto the bench and santi or halatau to start at lock.

I can't imagine JT bringing Lovett in for Lodge. It would give us a bench of 3 back rowers/utility players.

Although the only snipet I've seen on taupau being out is on here.

iam i missing something lodge played round 1 yet is stood down for round 2 and the offence happened in jan. does not make any sence. has anyone got the reason behind this?

Spewing if Taupau is out. I'd rather see Buchanan come onto the bench in favor of Lovett to replace Lodge, I don't think we lose too much in that regard as Buchanan has looked really strong to start the season. With Taupau and Lodge on the bench we definitely held the advantage over the Dragons. Without them…not so much.

Wasn't there a rumour last week that Taupau wasn't going to play against the Titans?
Hopefully it's just that false rumour resurfacing.

I'm liking this starting team. Having Taupau start at lock gives us some real size. Much like the big Easts packs from last couple of years. Galloway and Woods look strong as does Sirro. Personally I'd have Santi start for Sue. Good looking pack though. Ave and Lodge are great prop rotates. Dean should come on for Taupau at lock then move to dumby half if Robbie takes a short spell.
Sue should be are impact of the bench. He can cover most positions in the forwards.

Only thing wrong with that is that Sue doesn't have much impact. He's probably the most disappointing bloke of all our forwards, and has been since the beginning of last season.
He hasn't come up to expectations for a long while.
Agree with you though about starting Santi.

Defensively Sue's been pretty good.
Sirro running the ball looks like a handful for the defence,as he can get the ball way. So he often attracts a couple defenders. Santi was very busy in both defensive and attack.
Santi can play long minutes as well. IMO Santi has jumped Sue for a starting 2nd spot.

Going by the video Tim Simona just posted on facebook of himself and Taupau getting massages captioned "Prep before game" I would say they are both playing.
