He is not playing at all tonight

Thank god. Imagine Kikau running at Benji. Isaah Yeo is a beast as well though I’ve rated him for years

I'm not watching this game
I just dont see the point in this team selection
Nothing much changes
Why is Marshall and Mbye captain
Could there be a late change
Mbye out and Asu in
There is nothing exciting about this team
I hope they grow some balls before the game

your gonna miss history

whats the biggest scoreline ever? Feel you may see it Saturday night at 7.30pm

91 - 6. However that was when tries were only 3 points. In todays points it would be 110 - 6. The 6 that Canterbury scored was from 3 penalty goals. The score at halftime was on 23 - 6. Saints piled on 68 points in the 2nd half.

I never bet against us, even when I don’t see us winning. I usually just stay clear. But for pure financial reasons, I took the Panthers at -11.5. I think it’s a good bet unfortunately.

The biggest win in professional rugba league is 144 - 0 at their home ground by York City Knights over West Wales Raiders in 2018. The Knights beat the Raiders 130 - 0 in the away game later in the season. LOL.

You may have reverse jinxed us. Thx in advance

Dogs fans would say they try hard every week but simply don’t have the class

Not that I think it’s likely , but if we win this week and NQ decide to turn up thier once a year against the sharks , we are literally 1 win out of the eight. With a depleted manly and Souths coming up. Also the warriors are on the same points as us , and have the same incentive. They won’t beat the knights but still . We will all be irritated come Sunday morning if results go our way . Because we will back playing maths games at the back end of the season ... as usual

Yep.. It had me thinking why we find ourselves in this position so consistently, and it seems to mostly come down to attitude. It appears as if the team are just happy enough to do only what is necessary - so if we're already in the top 8, we're there and can take it easy, rather than maybe pushing to get into the top 4. If not, they need to work to get back in which often ends in too little too late when other teams have reached another level in timing their finals runs.

This is also reflected in individual games, and is a reason we can never put a team to the sword - the Cowboys game earlier this season a perfect example, with only the Broncos game being a very rare deviation.

I just don't see how you can be on the borderline for 4 years in a row - you either push a little harder to get into the 8 or do only what you think is enough, get lazy and just miss. I'm not saying by any means that we have a quality roster, but if you're coming 9th for 3 or 4 years in a row, then even statistically you could've finished in the top 8 for around half of those, or just miss.. As they seem to be content enough to do.

That would be assuming all other teams stay the same.

The answer to why we are where we are is simple. Look at our players, today it starts with our run on props. We have Mikaele and Huth for god sake!! Probably the least effective pairing in the NRL!

Well IF we won the games against the Titans and warriors we would still be enthusiastically be talking about finals footy.
That’s our biggest problem and in games that we are dominating to put opposition to sleep.

Starting to get pretty cheesed off. Fair enough Aloiai is out but we are now light on with a $750 thousand bludger doing sweet nothing and collecting his pay. So sick of these heartless types

I'm worried about our decoy run effectiveness. Who's gonna pick up the slack in Rusty's absence?

One of the mannequins from DJ’s should be able to fill that void.

Do they have any that can kick goals?

Aloiai’s wife gave birth. Congrats to Josh and his wife!

Why isn’t he playing?

Because his wife just gave birth? It’s pretty common for players to pull out of games when their partner gives birth.

Should have pulled out in the off season. Be playing today.

I’m assuming Twal will play prop, with Eiso at lock. For some reason that doesn’t look as dire to me, even though they’ll likely both be playing the same role regardless.

It doesn’t really matter. They are both playing the same role in the middle.

Optical illusion. Looks good from a different angle but then you realise it's still poo

Just caught Benji on 360, talking about the players taking ownership for their effort, their defense, their poor kicking options. Does he not know what ownership is, or the word their for that matter. It was his lack of effort, his poor defence and his poor kicking options. Delusional, Riff 62 Tiger 4

I think you'll find it is a WT trait, talking the talk, again and again and again until holiday time in September. Yay!

I've been thinking about the repetitive media slop WT players dish out each year. 'We know what we have to do.....take control of the team....control the game.....play for the full 80 etc etc ad nauseum. I'd love it if Maguire coached them to say, 'I have nothing to say, our answers will come from our performance out on the field. Just shut up and play like you know you have fans.
All these media performances do is get fans used to the team's poor on field performance with the implication that, they know what to do to improve. I'm sick of hearing about it. If you know what to do, do it, prove it on the paddock.
