Musgrove dropped - good
Twal to lock - good
Cheekam out of the centre’s - good

Hopefully Amone comes in for seyfarth.

Last chance Brooks , deliver or out!!!!!!!

Last chance Brooks
That must be his full name because he is always picked
Although Brooks isn't the worst in the team, he needs to lift just like everyone else

Put the same rubbish in the bin every week and you get the same smell

Players to watch this weekend
Nofoaluma
Brooks
Tamou
Roberts
Bj
Maybe I should have said don't watch

Maybe Brooks is picked because he is the best option and he doing the job he is sent out to do.

It is only a small group of people on this forum that think he is a bad player, garbage, puke etc.

Small ?
I think you are very wrong there

@hobbo1 and @happy

I’d say it’s the total reverse
Brooks bashers 78
Fan boys 6

Poll ?

@hobbo1 and @happy_tiger have over 100,000 posts between them and they don't cover too many topics.

Just because people can't be bothered arguing with you 100,000 times does not mean they agree with you. I am very bad at staying out of arguments but a lot of people are much better.

Happy has 56,000 posts
I’ve made 11,500 posts

Get your facts right

The survey says...”Brooks is the common denominator “

He is one of the most one dimensional, predictable halves I've ever seen. If he is doing the job he is sent out to do, which is sending the same exact end over end bomb up every set, then we have serious problems in the coaching. But in reality, I think Brooks just has a limited skillset, and can't do much more. It's dire.

Oh and look outside this thread, there aren't exactly loads of clubs wanting to sign Luke Brooks. There is a reason why he stayed at the club, and it ain't loyalty.

Take your blinkers of mate. He was one of our best last week.

Roberts was out on the wing at times last week. I would like to see Joey at left centre with Roberts on the left wing with Talau at right centre inside Nof.

AD also needs to vary his game more. His running game will be more effective if the opposition don't know if he will run, pass outside or grubber through the line.

Another square peg in around hole, it never works.

Really disappointing...

Brooks said on FOX ‘we did not turn up’ and ‘we did not not put in defensively’

The big problem with that is they also did not put in or turn up two weeks earlier...nor most of rounds 1-4 sec halves

He's wrong - they turned up because we were killing them for the first 30 minutes. It's our inability to sustain the same effort for 80 minutes which is the issue.

The problem we have is identifying the root cause. Fitness, mentality, interchange, desire?

The Cowboys game was different - we certainly didn't turn up for that one

The team shows how slim pickings we have in the backs.

Tawl at prop big yes - should always play there he has never been a lock.

Joe isn’t a backrower, maybe a roving lock role could suit. He is actually one player trying week in week out.

Seyfarth on the bench is stupid. He is not an impact or hold player. Swap him for Amone and Liddle for Mbye and will be happy with the bench.

we can't carry Liddle and Simpkin in 17
hopefully next year Hastings or Brooks takes the Mmbye role

I think adding Liddle to the team would really lift our attacking options. Thought he only needed a bit of a spell tbh but in a shared role he's always been great due to his agility. It's also great to use as an additional playmaker with some experience.

if we dont move Brooks or Mmbye on next year with Hastings joining us I don't see a dual hooker role working, simpkin plays 80 mins.
if we dont have Brooks or mmbye then maybe Liddle on the bench could work as Hastings would then play 7. if Hastings plays 13 then we need a backrower on the bench that can cover centre if needed

I understand but with no disrespect you're talking about next year or something that doesn't benefit the team's productivity for this year.
You've mentioned Brooks and for the same reasons you've stated, this is why having someone like Jacob in the team increases our attacking options and somewhat relieves some of the pressure for our halves. He's already played alongside Brooks and has that combination in place and I don't think it sets Simpkin's development back but rather will only assist it.
Liddle is very sharp and it could be a real asset for us during the middle part of the game.

Iam going to change my tipping this week to the Tigers, surely after this weeks attention they will put in big time, Am I insane to trust my team again ?

I see simpkin is about to be extended to 2024 I don't think Liddle will be here next year.
if Lidde does move on then no point playing him this season is just about done anyway, may aswell play Mmbye and hope someone buys him

How come nobody mentions Simpkin let the first try in and missed a number of tackles w hile Liddle had a good game in reggies .Is Simkin the latest favourite.

bounce back factor surely our forwards can't play that bad again. Concern is Roberts nofo defensive combination but dragons are not that good bash the forwards we win

Look we have gone for highly talented youth and hope they can take the next step in time, so unfortunately we have once again take the inconsistency and loses that go with that, the important thing to have the administration and facilities to hold onto the ones that become stars in the near future and create a winning era. I just hope i live long enough to see it

because he made about 51 tackles and had the big boppers running at him all day.

Well done and congrats to the club and Simpkin, he's earned it.
No offence I'm more focused on this year and hope the club are too. We need to win games now and salvage our year.
There's nothing wrong with having us use two hookers, even a threatening team like the Storm still use this to their benefit in what has become a fast paced game.

agree hope we do win games this year but think Liddle would be mad to sit behind simpkin moving forward, Brandon Smith was obviously prepared to sit behind one of the very best in cam Smith I doubt liddle will want to sit behind simpkin he deserves a starting spot he is just not better than simpkin

Then they could’ve bicycled together to the game this week
