Wests Tigers Team V Storm

If Nofo plays then we will see if he can defend any better this year
He will want to make the most of his inclusion
I would rather Gamble in the starting side at centre
Kev to wing
Thompson to fullback

Cant wait to get ailoia and liddle back and full fitness. I know lawrence wont be dropped but a forward pack of this would be lethal.

8.packer
9\. liddle
10\. matulino
11\. Ailoia
12\. rochow
13\. ET

Cant drop rochow after last weeks performance. Thought he was our best actually. Didnt realise how big he was too.

Agree, that is easily our strongest pack and would be competitive against just about anyone.

Very similar to the Pack that gave it to the Rorters..

Bring Aloia on after the sting has gone out of the defence and run him at their smaller players once isolated.

I’d have Twal start over Aloiai.
With Packer Mataluino and Rochow there’s loads of size experience and skill to open a game.
There also the guys you want on at the backend of the game.
Have Aloiai and Eiso to rotate, two relatively young and big motors keep up the intensity.
I feel if Mahe Fonua is in form keep him on the bench to cover the back row and backline.
And keep a second dummy half/five eighth(Gamble/Reynolds)to cover liddle if he’s not up for eighty, Otherwise Id have Lawrence as last bench spot.

I hope a team similar this runs out at some stage this year.

Back luck for Lolohea being ruled out however Thompson will show plenty of enthusiasm and Nofo will certainly aid our go forward in getting out of our half, plus his offload ability will complement Marsters on the right edge. Our second phase play will be crucial if we're going to trouble the Storm.

Marsters offloads against the Roosters were incredible, if Nofo can do that as well …without letting too many tries in then we will have a very good RHS.

Looks like Josh is back.

Aloiai is an excellent addition to the 17.

Chee Kam can consider himself unlucky.

In a perfect world Lawrence would be my 18th man with Aloiai starting in the second row and Chee Kam on the bench.

Once Liddle is back no need to carry a second hooker on the bench.

another injury whats happening are our training fields bad

Nothing to do with training field, Reynolds was injured at ANZ Stadium.

Still we have had many injuries at Concord in the last 3 months , do we blame the fields or Ronny Palmer

As I said in another thread , my EPL side changed it's training facilities when they did some studies and got some experts in and tested the ground / surface , injuries more than halved with same trainers /Head of Performance

Hoping that Lolohea is only a 1 week injury. Could potentially be a big issue.

As for Aloiai in for MCK you've gotta feel for Chee… He played like a man possessed on Saturday, very unlucky.

It's a shame we need to carry a hooker on the bench, otherwise MCK could stay in the 17.

Lots of talk about Liddle being one of the fittest at the club, hopefully he can play 80 and we can go back to the Potter days of the bash bench. Still makes me teary thinking about Taupau, Sue, Gavet & Ava.

Any update on liddle.. Club is pretty bad with giving info on injuries to their members and fans.

He's getting close, round 4 maybe, but he'll need to come back via ISP.

Problem with Tui being out and Nof in is we lose a heap of pace. Storm are the fastest team in the comp and we've now gotten even slower.

We will need to keep switched on as I can see Storm attacking us from a long way out to use their pace. Our goal line defence may not be tested as much because their pace is nullified in close range.
