Hey Joel shoot an email with a link to the 3 directors who have been excluded from the HBG boardroom, one of them has been leaking like a sieve to the media, I reckon within an hour Chammas and Hooper will be all over it.
We’ve been in touch with a couple of them and we have a press release ready to go. We had planned to send out tomorrow morning but will see what happens. My understanding is that they are in support of our actions (why wouldn’t they?).

I’m signed and on board for change. Sick of the factional politics and bullsh#t that is holding our club back. Right when we are heading in the right direction after years of failure, these boffins want to continue their agenda of petty politics. If you are not here to serve the fans and the betterment of our club, then you are not here for the right reasons and you should leave the boardroom. The fans might just hold the power and have their say to bring unity and a shared vision for success. Go. All of us!

Interesting to see the turn-coat Storm fanatic and Magpies loyalist Daniel Watson-Hayes (aka "Gobbs") leading the opposition to the petition on Facebook (along with Shannon Cavanagh) - and decrying the original review as a sham...

Their endorsement of Romero and Burgess is enlightening - and just reniforces the need to get rid of the maggots!

I was surprised little Daniel could even formulate his own opinions without "Ask Kenty"....

Just for arguments sake , how would the other 3 benefit with the current setup re. None are on the WTs board ? Like what’s in it for them ? None are on , nor were proposed to be on the new WTs board .
That narrative has no logic to it under even the tinniest microscope.
Weren’t they advocates for vacating the WT board ?

There are some really thick people out there. Honestly, the review just formalised stating the obvious issues with the governance structure.

The recommendations aren't rocket science. Just standard best practice.

If people have read it and come to a conclusion that it's a sham, they probably also have stories about being beamed on an alien spaceship and probed.

Imo it's not just Romero and Burgress are the problem, my thoughts are it's the whole Wests Ashfield board and the Balmain board who all are a problem. Now are they each individually as bad as each other who knows but they are all responsible and as such should all go but the key is the structure of how they are elected to HBG.

As for Balmain given it has 10% ownership then who really cares what they do as have little influence. I care for neither the Magpies or Balmain but for the Wests Tigers

Agreed this is both sides of the joint venture that need the archer. What this shows is there are factions at this level and even with change we may not get the WTS faction.

We are now at 537 signatures on our petition. Thank you so much to everyone who has signed, but we need many, many more if we're going to be heard.

Here's a selection of recent comments left by those signing the petition...

I want the infighting at the Board level to stop. I want a united Board. I want a Board without individual agendas. I want a Board with the sole objective of making Wests Tigers successful. - Greg

It's time to implement the recommendations of the review. Wests Tigers is a club on the up after a decade of shambolic leadership. This is the next step to making this club a Rugby League Powerhouse. - Richard

I am disgusted by the carry on of the remaining directors and debenture holders and this is making my team the laughing stock of the league. - Gregory

As a passionate Wests Tigers supporter, the conduct of the HBG group over the last 6-12 months has been embarrassing and amateurish. The Wests Tigers team, thanks to Shane Richardson in particular, are finally heading in the right direction but the dithering of the HBG threatens to derail the positive moves made. There is a strong sense that the HBG members are only focused on themselves and have little regard or concern for the wider Wests Tigers group. - Edward

I’m sick and tired of the embarrassing off field governance of our great club, it’s time to clean out the muppets ruining the upwards trajectory through personal gain. The Wests Tigers are the sleeping giants of the NRL. We are finally getting it right on the field, let’s get it right everywhere. - Brendan

We need governance at the Holman Barnes Group to be reviewed to ensure that the Wests Tigers stand a chance of being a strong and united NRL club.

Please sign the petition and share it with your friends too!

Travelling along nice , just wish reporters could jump on and support us , not like that clown Mole , now we have reports Balmain and Kea having a chat , this would only fuel Romero and Burgess lop sided view and destroy Wests Tigers , great way to head into 2025 with a team , And Richo looking good , clowns don’t give a crap about the Wests Tigers just themselves , Both need to go

Any quick summary of what's been happening? Been MIA for a couple of weeks.

I feel like a complete outsider with this and as an outsider, it just seems like this Club is on its knees
