I think this sums up the issue some people are having with the petition. No one is questioning the why as its pretty obvious to 99.9% of people on the forum that change has to happen for WT to move forward. I think what people want to know is how is the petition going to force HBG to change their constitution/governance. The 18 debenture holders are not going to vote to change. So you are relying on some government intervention which is a pretty longshot considering the current constitution has been in place for 70 years and HBG appear to be thriving as a club.No point, when the HBG is made up of 5 debenture holders. Unless you are part of the 18 there is no way to drive for change.
A board that is on the verge of expelling its only 2 member elected directors is a dysfunctional board.
