So many times we ran in circles, backwards, sideways with no structure. Execution was poor and predictable. I don’t get it when we say we are training really well but we can’t reproduce that on game day. It’s like we train at first grade level and play at reggies level.

It’s a very badly coached side no form or function .. the club needs to move or next season will be a bigger disaster.

Our attack wasn't brilliant but 24 points is enough to win a game. We score 20+ all the time and still lose

They were two of our best tonight, behind Doueihi.

I’ll go with Liddle and Doueihi but Brooks came up short again.
Few good glimpses early but couldn’t get us a try with 4 sets on their line then missed tackles and threw some shocking passes the rest of the game .
Not blaming him for the loss but we need a change.

Fan boys out tonight ..Hastings come on down !

Brooks did make a few mistakes 100%, but as a half he has absolutely no players in motion or making any runs either side of him. They don't want the ball - he is left high and dry for options most of the time and either is forced to take a tackle or pass out the back.

The problem is we’ve let in more than 40 again. Our defence is a shambles

Have a look and you will see where our defence is really inadequate - our two centres.

Catch ....draw ....pass

I've never seen a backline so incompotent at using numbers to attack an opposition defence

I reckon we had at least 7/8 chances if the ball carrier simply straightens and draws his man

Tommy ...have a chat to your old man about it

And our D .....if we stay on the front foot .....Tommy can't do anything ...you crush the sucker from inside out and tell him to get used to it

Too many cut out passes that the defence read, instead of using the numerical advantage and getting the them static.
Oh well...we put 20+ on them...if only we could defend...?

It's an Under 14 skill ...catch ...draw and pass

Another young skill ...the minute you see a receiver like Turbo stop watching the line to watch the ball ...you crunch him ......at the very least you force him inside to get cleaned up by your forwards

DCE try .....instead of Laurie hitting his legs ...you hit him just above the hip to give the defender going high that extra split millisecond .......

Why can't our coaching staff teach this stuff ....or more to the point ...why can't out blokes make these calls ...it should be 2nd nature .....

Why the hell don't these blokes know this stuff ......

Madge is too busy yelling and swearing at his players. Do you expect him to coach as well.

I wasn't a fan of the short kick offs, they may have had an impact if we have someone there to have a go. Also, Turbo is everywhere, you can't avoid that bloke. I'd like to see how any other halfback approaches that problem.

Kicking game wasn't bad at all. If you put them in the zone and no one challenges or the chase is weak the what more can he do? We just stood there and watched them catch it every time.
