They were two of our best tonight, behind Doueihi.

I’ll go with Liddle and Doueihi but Brooks came up short again.
Few good glimpses early but couldn’t get us a try with 4 sets on their line then missed tackles and threw some shocking passes the rest of the game .
Not blaming him for the loss but we need a change.

Brooks did make a few mistakes 100%, but as a half he has absolutely no players in motion or making any runs either side of him. They don't want the ball - he is left high and dry for options most of the time and either is forced to take a tackle or pass out the back.

Our 7 to 1 weren't great tonight ......

What this game says more than anything else is our recruitment strategy has to continue around younger guys that are passionate and want to play for the Tigers. Build around Douehi, Stefano, Laurie, Liddle and Blore...

I wasn't a fan of the short kick offs, they may have had an impact if we have someone there to have a go. Also, Turbo is everywhere, you can't avoid that bloke. I'd like to see how any other halfback approaches that problem.

Oldest trick in the book ...lay the ball flat out on the ground and flog it in the belly of the ball .......when you have 110kg defenders and you have to get down and low and catch a ball that is bobbling all over the joint with your head fully exposed .....

So many times we ran in circles, backwards, sideways with no structure. Execution was poor and predictable. I don’t get it when we say we are training really well but we can’t reproduce that on game day. It’s like we train at first grade level and play at reggies level.

It’s a very badly coached side no form or function .. the club needs to move or next season will be a bigger disaster.

It is blatantly obvious to all but the Madge fans, he said we had a side capable of making the 8 when he arrived. He said he would fix the defence, he has failed big time, lets stop wasting more seasons and punt him now

Ultimately, he has had 2.75 years to get it right. I yell 'move up' also when I watch. Does that mean I should be the coach?

It his job not just to yell it out, but actually get them to do it...

90% of them are 'his' recruits...'he' has had 2.75 years.

3 seasons and all can see what a well drilled and motivated team this is .. it’s all there to see that Maguire has Failed !

I'd say his season is done. Garner out for at least several weeks - Tamou and Mikaele also picked up injuries but might be able to play next week.
