Well, gotta say, we looked pretty good actually.

Lucy is a machine, Brooks kicking goals! actually kicking them pretty well too by the looks.

Most of the kicks have been from the left

Which it should be remembered is almost always the harder side for a left duker. Anyway, good to see him potting a few on kicking debut.

Thought our starters did really well. Tamou and Joffa looked really good, Twal excellent, Luciano the clear stand out.

Brooks playing well, keeping it simple but effective which is good for him I think no need to complicate it just give Luc early ball

Laurie did well too, he's electric running the footy.


Agree re starters. I was confused by some of the negative comments on Joffa. He was making great metres each hit up and his PTBs are quick.

I also thought Madden looked a lot better than last week. He is trying to unlock the outside backs rather than do everything himself. His early ball to Jimmy was great

Yeah I thought Joffa did well, both he and Tamou made good metres and found their front, Joffa even saved a try

I'd put money on Laurie being named at 1 and Mbye at 6. Madden has looked much better this week. But I can't see him jagging a spot ahead of either of those 2.

We used L Lailua as our main attacking weapon, and he was so dominant, our right side (I would argue the stronger Roberts/Nofoaluma) did not get the ball.
Solid defence and we had a good go forward, if the ref did not invent a few '6 again' for the opposition, we would be even more dominant.
