Can someone tell me why Brooks has been tanking it for 7 years while he’s sat back and watched us lose games due to piss poor goal kicking when all along he’s more than capable !

Even still he could’ve taken the shot than Momirovski choked on v the Dogs

Just rewatching the game, Garner defended with a lot more intent than he has in seasons past. Really came out looking to hit players hard and put them on their back, hopefully he keeps that up

Another thing I saw is Stefano.... MAN he is a talent. He will become an origin level forward I reckon, he's a great defender, carries multiple defenders every run, consistently found his front and even showed some slick ball playing. Massive body with a big motor and he's set for a great career, still so young too.

Has a bit of a fitzhenry smell about it but it’s a guaranteed way to add him into the side in a position we could strengthen.

Manly were terrible but gee we looked really good.

If I had to say anything about Manly, it would be that young Schuster can play and will make a mark on the game.

It's the only way I can see Mbye in our team this year besides bench utility. We don't have a strong winger on that side, so I think it's not a crazy idea really.

Really? One of the quickest outside of Roberts? I have not seen him run more then 20m in three yrs, maybe your right, but i doubt it.

Hammy and lower leg issues in previous seasons restricted him doing much goal kicking..even in lower grades he had Slimey fart ahead of him and was only ever a part timer..

Injury free this pre-season and plenty of practice..still only seen as a back up with Doueihi No.1 option and Mbye No. 2..

I actually wouldn't mind seeing how that goes. It's the only place I'd want him in the 17. Not sold on TT or Kepoa just yet. So not a bad idea.

Very good chance he himself never knew he could kick, don’t recall him ever being a goal kicker throughout juniors. Goal kicking is a skill that can be taught and refined with practice, he has been practicing all off season with a kicking coach.

Brooks has been taking the kick offs for years. Maybe the goalkicking it is part of him taking more ownership and showing more ego.
