I'm impressed with our defence. Yes it's a trial but I hope they keep that up season come.

too often we dont put the player on the deck...annoys me no end

I don't know why, but just about every team puts the player on the deck, and works on him for a bit there, but not us.

Last year, Roosters and Storm became the experts at stopping the player whilst standing up, holding him there for a second, then when the refs about to call held, they get him to the ground, giving them another second or two to get off him.

I don't understand why we aren't doing that?

Thought our starters did really well. Tamou and Joffa looked really good, Twal excellent, Luciano the clear stand out.

Brooks playing well, keeping it simple but effective which is good for him I think no need to complicate it just give Luc early ball

Laurie did well too, he's electric running the footy.

Agree re starters. I was confused by some of the negative comments on Joffa. He was making great metres each hit up and his PTBs are quick.

I also thought Madden looked a lot better than last week. He is trying to unlock the outside backs rather than do everything himself. His early ball to Jimmy was great

Should be better from the other side. Left foot kickers prefer to kick from the right as the angle is better.
