Well Walters has to be a lock for hooker Rnd 1. We can’t run Reynolds at hooker even for 10 minutes. His service is woeful.

Only way Reynolds makes the team is if they run Benji at hooker and Reynolds at 5/8 like they dod in patches late last year.

Lets just see what Madge can produce as far as an NRL team goes...hopefully he has some quality left in the stands,there wasn't much to pick from amongst the scraps tonight,maybe 6 good players out of all the ones who played...I have faith in Madge to come up with the goods...….so I can feel comfortable renewing my membership this year...and not making just a donation....

Absolutely. Tonight at least cleared up he is well and truly out of the picture for a dummy half role.

Walters, Doueihi, Musgrove and Johns were the standouts in my opinion.

Trial results aren't as important as seeing where different players are at form wise . We rotated something like 29 players in tonight's game and the other mob did much the same. Saw one trial at Campbelltown a few years ago where a turnaround like this happened after half time when just about all of our good players from the first half were replaced

I know it’s a trial but wow. Some troubling signs.

Ease up Avo... we don't have the usual FG team playing... worry about it when we have the FG team in and got touched up with this Panfers reserve grade team

Was just making an observation. Penrith were missing a heap of their FG players too but they still looked sharp. We looked a mess.

They had a stronger lineup than us, and we basically pulled all our NRL players at halftime. They didn’t make nearly as many changes during the second half.

We can't have Reynolds playing first grade at all. His mind is not really into it and he certainly doesn't look like a first grade player at this stage.

Grub is a running 5/8 and he looks dangerous when he gets into some space.
Sadly, if he's going to play hooker we need a ball player. What disappoints me most is his inability to pass properly. You'd think after this long in grade he would have spent time learning how to pass a decent left to right spiral.
In my sixties I'm confident I have a better passing game on both sides. I really like Grub but his passing game is not to first grade standard.
