What difference has Potter made to our players

Tedesco - Was a youngster with potential but had just come back from a year off from injury after 2 years under Potter he has been offered 800k a year and yet turned it down to stay

Nofoaluma - Under 20s player with behavioural issues has turned into a star young winger with origin potential in the future

SImona - From reserve grader to a fantastic centre who was named in NZ train on squad last year

Lawrence - Injury plagued and crappy to injury plagued and crappy but making 100m a game at least

Richards - Came back to play under Potter and almost made Origin at 32 and not having played NRL in 10 years

Austin - Reserve grader at Penrith to one of the most improved players in the game

Brooks - Young star in the 20s who under Potter will win rookie of the year

Blair - From most overrated player in the game and most over paid to be being back to NZ test squad and one of our best players in 2014

Thompson - Reserve grader to one of our best players

Sironen- Young bloke to still being young with plenty of potential but has been injured

Woods- First grader with potential to NSW and soon Australian prop

Farah - NSW origin player just to NSW vice captain and star who has been one of the comps best

Galloway - One of the few who have struggled under Potter

Taupau - Reserve grader bulldogs to star at the tigers

Sue - Under 20s player to genuine first grader

Gavet - Reserve grader to strike weapon

Seumanufagai -From reserve grader to possible starting prop

Our coach has improved 16 of 17 players since taking over - What more do they want at a club with a ridiculous board situation, bugger all money to support and for the lowest payed coach in the game - especially given we are equal 7th despite a horrible run with injuries.

Out if those players, 7 of them are juniors and sheens was the one who groomed them to be what they are. Not potter. Others have been purchased.

As much as people bag sheens for his coaching what he did behind the scenes with the up and comers was amazing.

Potter has helped. He hasn't turned any of them into superstars. However practically every player in our current squad has improved under Potter, including Robby.

Do we know that anyone's involved at the Tigers has leaked anything? All I've heard is tabloid speculation, forum gossip and TripleM Twitter trolling.

Could you shed some light in regards to Nofo's behavioural issues? I didn't know anything about this and it comes quite shocking since he seems like a really good genuine bloke.

I've been thinking about this as well. Players have been working hard under potter. There is no one in that squad who id say isn't putting in 100%.

That said- potter has struggled to make us function as a team. Players have improved but the structures around the players haven't improved much. As someone said, better to have a champion team than a team of champions. This is where i lack belief in potter. Hope he can show us something in the last few rounds.

Potter has made them all give 100% and that is what everyone asks for in a team that finished second last.

Shame there is 33 players in the squad.

SImona - Fantastic Centre ? His only scored 3 tries the whole year and two of those were in round 3.
Lawrence - So he takes a lot of hit ups Big deal. His defence is abysmal and has not improved.
Austin - Still plays like a reserve grader and hasn't been able to cement a spot in the team.
Blair - Can't stand the guy his only here for the money so he is never going to improve no matter what.
Anasta - Has he improved ?
Sironen - What has improved about him ?
Farah - Yeah that was a master stroke by Potter taking him off against Manly last year.

What about

Eddy Pettybourne Joel Reddy Lote Tuqiri Benji Marshall Ben Murdoch- Maslia
Jack Buchanan Shaun Spence Matt Bell Nathan Brown Blake Ayshford
Marika Koroibete Jacob Miller and Matt Groat

He really improved those guys

They tackle more, hit harder, handle adversity better and play with more tenacity, run harder and straighter and make fewer dumbs plays

Well he 'improved' most of that last lot you mentioned out of the club.
You can see them starring for other clubs every week…wait a minute... they're not.
The only two mentioned that are left are still kids with better players in front of them.

hahaha what a load of rubbish….. apart from pulling the pants down on a couple of unsuspecting sides we are one of the worst sides in the NRL with a shite coach with no direction, whos claim to fame is blooding a bunch of kids who won a under 20's comp under payton... also took a punt on a couple of blokes struggling at other clubs...

There are a couple of people who have improved under potter that have really caught my eye.

Obviously, Blair this year has killed it and had a couple of excellent games last year as well. Whether it be coz of potter or kidwell, I'm not too sure. He really plays for his team and his teammates. He plays a lot of minutes but he is always chasing in general play- from what I've seen, he's saved us a couple of points nearly every game by making sure they don't get too close to the posts.

Thompson's energy has been infectious. His decision making needs work but he makes a lot of metres with the ball and is not afraid to tell his teammates off when they make mistakes.

This is a bit out of left field but moltzen last year improved amazingly under potter. So much that most on here wanted to keep teddy on the wing for moltzen. He was showing more courage and his natural skill as well. Tbh, Potters record with moltzen, teddy and Rowe is amazing and shows why he was such a good fullback.
