What will the new competition look like

Clubs are already threatening legal action against NRL. Apparently the handout that the NRL will give all clubs through the suspension wont be equal. The clubs in financial trouble are going to get more than the clubs that have been financially managed well. Hasn't gone down too well at some clubs. So much for no club will be bailed out.

That was only 1 possible scenario..At this stage every Club is receiving 1.2m each per month for 3 months..

Is that through existing funds available through the NRL, or in anticipation of a bailout?

if we are talking refubds with foxtel which i dont agree with as has other chanels etcwe need to look at what will happen with season tickets eventually

If some money falls out of footy it mightn’t be such a bad thing. So many could argue against me but I’d be just as happy (happier maybe) to watch passionate blokes play the game because they are good at it, are tough and love the game. Gee, imagine going to Leichhardt at 12 noon to watch Under 23’s then a reserve grade at 1.30 and firsts at 3pm. Players would stay at the club they love for longer and they’d be more passion in the jersey. Rose coloured glasses? Back to the future? Maybe.

That was my past and i wish it was my future, especially to watch all 3 of our grades play together each week at a revamped venue at the olympic stadium which was designed for league.A homeground we could all be proud of and call ours
