Who replaces Grant and MCK against the Sharks?

Assuming both these guys are out next week and that Idris remains on the sidelines…

You would think the safe option would be to move Kev to centre and put Hunt on the wing

But do you think Cleary would be genuinely entertaining the idea of blooding Marsters in the centres, noting he has been playing centre in ISP - for those that follow ISP does his form/defensive capability warrant selection? Compared with Idris, Marsters would be quicker, has better footwork but is he still a bit too raw (especially in defence) to throw at the Sharks?

The battle for Grant's position will be intriguing - if the extended bench selections over the past month are anything to go off Tatola gets the nod over Felise. Or is Matt Eisenhuth a left field smokey.

Either way, the arrival of Cleary brings fresh perspective around team selections - whatever happens let's hope Lovett doesn't end up in the centres.

What happened to MCK? Grant and Ava is what concerned me.

Felise for Grant and Tatola for Ava.

Hopefully Idris is fit. As for Grant, I find it hilarious that the media would try to paint us in a negative light by saying after everything that's happened, now Grant is considering his options.

What happened to Ava?

I agree with Marsters in Centre.

JJ was in the 21-man squad whilst Tatola was left out. I think this shows that Cleary prefers JJ whilst JT and Webster preferred Tatola.

Anyway, all I ask is that the players go out there and play their best and with pride and passion. Nofoaluma is the example I am talking about. What a legend.

Grants only other option would be to take up Busking …he'd suck at that too !

I didn't see anything happen to Ava, he was solid. Grant looks busted though and I'd give Tatola a run. As for Chee-Kam, he carried an arm/shoulder injury for more than half the match, played tough. Marsters is not an outright centre but neither is Chee-Kam. He may get a run, I'd certainly put him in before Milone. I don't know if Cleary would consider Littlejohn, I think he would be more of a liability.

I think that story re: Grant, began here

Milone! The forgotten gun

Felise for Grant and for MCK obviously Idris would be the preference and I'd say Masters at centre but Justin Hunt an option too

Ava picked up a knock to the knee..not sure how serious…Grant will be out for a few...JJ Felise next cab of the rank with Tatola not far behind..

Brooks got a cork should be fine..

Marsters for Chee-Kam if Idris is not right...

I've found the ideal like-for-like replacement for Grant. Hopefully we have enough cap room.

Why is it hilarious?

How long does Heleta have to wait to get his turn? If MCK is out why not give him his chance? I havent watched or payed any attention to reserve grade so if he's not in form then i dont know about that.

Arguing that the club's actions are causing an average prop at best to consider his options and that he might be the next player to walk, like he holds any kind value. How is it not.

Hunt in for MCK
Felise in for Grant - and to stay that way. He should have been replacing Grant even if he didn't get injured.

I didn't notice MCK got injured, that's a shame. I thought he played great in the centres and could possibly hold onto his spot even when Idris came back. Forcing Naiqama out.

I thought the only bad forward we had was Edwards, he missed a lot of tackles and don't think he had many hit ups, hes a waste of space.
