Who Should Be Our Coach Next Season?

Folksy is coaching jillaroos.

I really want potter to stay. In whatever capacity possible. Last two seasons haven't been great but before injuries we really saw what he could do with this team. I believe he will be a great coach some day and if we want to persist with him, it might take us a bit longer to become a massive force but we definitely will become one.

From within our own ranks, fletcher has shown a lot of promise I believe. His record with nsw cup side shows it which has suffered just as many injuries as first grade.

I'm not sure which type of coach we need. Do we need someone with a good record in developing juniors for our young squad? Or someone like Jason Taylor who is great with game plans?

A decade ago we had a team full of young super stars in the making, and it was Sheens who took that team of kids and turned them into something special.

While I wont advocate for the return of Sheen's (lets face it, the divorce was a messy one), he is probably the only one on that list with the runs on the board to take another bunch of young super stars in the making to a premiership within the next few years.

But being realistic, I would think someone like Griffin, Henry, or even Daniel Anderson. Although once a coach is out of the game for too long, they become a risk. Basically an older guy with experience and authority. No more bargain priced rookies.

I have gone with "Other"; Folkes or Taylor. But I would be more than happy with Cartwright.

Maybe the players are not being paid enough to take the work somebody like Folkes would ask of them? No wonder we are where we are.

Maybe it was the old days "too tough". You know, 10 klm runs and sand hill after sand hill?

I don't think the players would object to the coach being too tough so long as it is seen as a modern approach to tough.
